3-4 months ago Karlov Manor was at $90 at multiple retailers. Might be a bit too late now. OTJ on the other hand, thanks to the 2 bonus sheets, is still very good value. Play boosters now average about 1.25 Rares and Mythics per pack so they're basically draft boosters at this point. OTJ was consistently at 1.75 Rares and Mythics per Play pack. Keep that in mind.

Mkm runs the risk of having surveil lands reprinted. Otj is great to open due to the big score and breaking news which greatly helped the set

I think they definitely will be reprinted, but imo they will always hold SOME value, and I don’t think they will be reprinted in the near future.

Fallout set most likely sold well due to the success of the show

Fallout is fun. Buy all 4 decks or buy them twice, mix them all together = Fallout Draft Cube. Amazing.

I am curious about your background. Do you buy 4 or 5 same collector packs to open later or to "inve$t" or just for the look? Do you try to get one of each on release? Only collector boxes or also other stuff? What about vintage singles? Do you like collecting and completing set? If so you should do videos showing your stuff.

It would be cheaper to buy the Karlov Manor singles than buy a box. Zendikar Rising has some good cards in this set and a Booster box for $84.99 is a good buy. War of the Spark clearly does not have much value as a set. It is not undervalued. Thunder Junction is a better set than March of the Machines. The Collector boxes are fairly cheap and there is a lot of them out there. With that being said, most of the time you do not get much value out of a Collectors box. Considering you only get 12 packs, you end up getting a lot of duplicate cards and pack print runs. To each their own. Thank you for the video.

I started magic when karlov manor came out so I don't understand the hate

It's because it was a beloved plane they shoehorned the detective stuff in. Like Outlaws, players felt it was contrived and shallow. As an established player since the 90s I also don't get the hate. It's a card game about magic powers, it's all silly and contrived. People absolutely hated lorwyn or kamigawa when they were new, now they are beloved. This aspect of the game is just people stupidly living out their power fantasy.
