So, I bought the HBX 2996a but still undelivered. Might cancel the order and try a different model. How does it compare to the 2997a vs this Bezgar model? Any comments?

I am yet to try the 2997a hopefully very soon but the 2996a is a very capable truck on lots of surfaces. Its larger than this and will be more capable at the cost of speed. Both great choices

You actually got something slightly better than what you gave away during your review of the Hyper Go version. You came out ahead. Are you going to keep this one?

They're great.... Until you have to work on them, then they become a fiddly, frustrating nightmare. I honestly don't mind waiting a little while for spares, it's working on them that gets me, most of the Chinese stuff isn't designed with ease of maintenence in mind. Luckily they're pretty durable. I'd definitely recommend them over the much more expensive Grom because you do get an awful lot for your money.! If you drive them mainly on 2S the diffs will last an awful lot longer. I have to agree they are more difficult to work on but like you say are usually very durable depending on what you go for. MJX and HBX seem to be really durable right the box. You do get a lot for the money! Cheers mate Merry Christmas. Have a great one 😎👍

I'd take this, the MJX, Rlaarrlo, HBX/FTX etc over the Arrma Grom every time.. The Grom is nowhere near brushless ready, it needs all sorts of upgrades before it can handle extra power. Driveshafts, diff outdrives, ESC & motor.. It's an exercise in making money in my opinion.!! £130 plus another £100+ ish in upgrades means you can almost get 3 of these for the cost of making a brushless Grom.!! HOLY CRAP.!!!! I'VE JUST CHECKED THE PRICE OF METAL DRIVESHAFTS FOR THE GROM.. £50.!!!!... FIFTY BLOODY QUID.!! THAT'S DAYLIGHT ROBBERY.! It gets even worse... I've just checked the price of the diffs.. Another FIFTY POUND FOR TWO.!! 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 And you'll be needing them too since the diff gear & outdrives ARE PLASTIC.!!!! A total rip off.!!! Arrma know full well that people are going to make them brushless, but they haven't bothered to make it brushless ready out the box.!

@@beyondRC Oh well, £60.. Is Arrma not merciful.!. 😂 😂 😂 It really bothers me how expensive this hobby has become... But saying that.. what hasn't become ridiculously overpriced these days.? You don't need to go any further than the supermarket... It would be very depressing... If we didn't have our RC toys to play with & cheer ourselves up. I'd like to thank you for staying true to your roots mate & treating everybody equally, no matter where they fall in the hobby.. I'm going to do something I rarely do & have a moan.. 😉 I've slowly been going off Kev Talbot's channel... If it's not the latest, greatest top of the range RC then it's not worth his attention, he can't be bothered & just dismisses it out of hand.. I was looking forward to his FTX Stinger video the other day, but it left me feeling shat on tbh.. he basically said "it's not as good as an Infraction" then quickly destroyed it.! He claimed it was crap because the gyro was set up in reverse out the box (which was common knowledge from its release, as was the need to take a bit of material off the rear diffuser to run 3S)... Literally all he had to do was press the ESC button 3 times, but he'd obviously decided to take the piss & destroy it for views instead.! However, he'll gladly throw £500 of upgrades on a £1200 RC... (So which one is really the crap one.?) but pressing a button is beneath him. I'm really struggling financially these days & I have to scrimp, save & do without other things to be able to buy my RCs, I own the Stinger & it's a fantastic platform, I've also owned a 6S Infraction & imho the Stinger drives/drifts every bit as well as it.! For a third the price & more importantly.. Cheaper to run.! You can run it on £10 sets of tyres that last ages versus £70 every few packs.! I hate how salty this comment sounds, but I'm sick of feeling like I'm being looked down on & dismissed by him... He's been doing it more & more & I'm done with it. He's basically going after the low hanging fruit of destroying things for views from kids & idiots who don't understand the value of things.. That's fine, but he can't call himself a proper RC channel... Just like Whistlin' Diesel doesn't claim to be an automotive channel.! If my end of the hobby isn't worthy of his attention then his channel isn't worthy of mine. He's becoming a bit of an obnoxious tit, which I hate because at one time I'd tell anybody who'd listen how great his channel was... I honestly can't remember the last time he did or said anything that I could relate to... Shame.. ​​@@alantaylor353Yeah, the lack of knowledge on Talbot is strange. The Stinger gyro and 3s tire rubbing has been covered months ago. It's an easy fix, while the name brands require crazy expensive upgrades. Also, he tested the MJX 16208 on 2s only. I mean, why? He throws in an extra s in the name brands all the time. And later on, when he revisited the 16208, he didn't notice a speed difference going from 2s to 3s. Although in that video it looks like the '3s' battery is a 2s. He has no love for the popular brands.

50 GBP for two diffs on the Grom is ridiculous. I got two diffs for the mjx 16208 for 14 euro, incl tax and shipping. That 4 to 5 times cheaper!

@@alantaylor353 i have also seen a change in kevin talbot. you are right he doesn't appear interested unless the stuff is super expensive or hes doing something incredibly daft to generate views. Its gone beyond stupidity now and its a bad look. He is a nice enough lad but im really not a fan of how he portrays our hobby. For example once my 5 year old was watching a video of his at a skatepark whereby he did the usual and smashed an RC car to bits. My boy then turned to me and said "Daddy can we smash our cars up like that?" I then had a lengthy conversation about how we respect things we have been given and treat them with care. This is not how expensive RC toys should be treated. Of course people like him and what he does (mostly kids) which generates his income so he has to do what he has to do. Unfortunately its not something i can support with two young lads who i am trying to teach to respect what mummy and daddy had to work hard for. I know i can be controversial and not to everyone's liking but i would like to think i speak some truth and keep it "real" all the time! I dont care if people dont like me i wont change how i am and my views on things wont change. Long story short i have lost a lot of respect for Kev and tomley (just throwing his name in the mix.. old mr DONT SAY STOP READ haha!) Two people who had so much influence when i started my channel now have no influence over me whatsoever as both of their attitudes have changed and arrogance has taken over. Is what it is mate i wont be changing regardless of sub count or money earnt i am 100% genuine and i think most people can see i am. No f**** given, say it how it is and take no prisoners kind of guy. I will confront anyone on here and in real life if i think i have a point haha! This is a business and none of us are friends we are competitors and anyone who thinks fellow creators are their friends its total BS. No one is your friend where money is concerned! ;)

​@@beyondRCthe H14BM has it on both, front and back. That and the added red to the black shell seems to be the only major difference between that and the 14210. I think the Bezgar here is pretty much a H14BM besides the shell from what I can see. Everything else looks exactly the same.

Their opinions are all bought and paid. They say what the script that comes with the free RC says. If they don't play along they don't get any more free stuff. Nobody is going to bite the hand that feeds them. If they didn't have a steady inflow of free products to review their channels would stagnate and die. Remember that 99.99% of RC manufacturers are in China. China does not care about being honest or having integrity. You'll say what they want you to say or they'll find someone else. who will.

Well after baisicly youtube channels i decided to bought MJX Hyper Go 14210 V2. I added only 3S batteries. What i have experienced is nowhere nere this opinion. Car have loose sterring , front lower arms snap off so easly i wonder how they are testing that. And reciever .... it is a verry cheap but not build quallity is poor. LAG . Lag is something it kills the model. I am in process of upgrading some parts to be a better ( servo,servo linkage, sterring shafts,reciever,....) so probably i would buy for that kind of money Easly 1/10 or even 1/8 scale Traxass.... It is cool for a RC passion to start but you quickly realize it is not worth of the money. Sorry for honest opinion but i have enough of hype witch that car not deserve. When they eliminate that problems and stay with that price it is ok. Now it's nowhere near what should be for 200 USD.

Maybe your expectations where way higher for this car. its still a great cheap option which is also very quick and ticks a lot of boxes for most people. It really depends on what you are looking for. It is by no means perfect but out of all the cheap RC cars i have reviewed this year it tops the lot. Thats my honest opinion which i dont expect everyone to agree with naturally :)

@@beyondRC Well i agree with that statement. We all have our personal opinion. From youtube reviews of MJX i did expect good durability witch i saw . i saw how much people bash those cars and i liked that . When i got my car , maybe it is the weather ( from 7 to - 4 degree now in Poland) so plastic is not that elastic as it should be , but i did broke 2 lower left arms. Well ok , i tought i have just a bad luck of hitting something with left wheel. But what anoyed me so much it was lag of transmitter and loose stering . For 150$ or less i would be not complaining. But that is more than 150 $ and if you look on the price of other cars, it is just little to much for poor fitting quality of suspension. Cheers and i hope you will rewiew more of good afordabble cars. Shame we don't have in Europe good parts support. Alliexpress or bangood is always for me 20 days.
