Just a note: if you want to soften springs, generally speaking you stretch them in length then cut off the extra. shortening them really only adjusts ride height. It's really the size of the wire and how stretched they are that controls softness or hardness.

I'm smack damb in the middle of 2 builds at the moment. But I'm sure this will at some point make it on my list. The Axial Capri is turning out to be much more challenging of a build then I expect. Not as in complicated but as in cost. To put all the shiny parts on in the right places and adding rear steer is well Tomley I don't have to tell you. If anyone else is thinking about doing it my suggestion is move the plastic front to the back and buy a metal (aluminum) axle for the front. And later upgrade the back. It may not look the best but it will save you a few hundred in the beginning. That is if your going to do metal axles . I am and and I didn't. Wished I had took my own advice.

Been wanting to add something to my fleet. Thought about a new body for my HG p401 or my EMAXX, then I've watched several videos of this truck. Same money for a quality hard body or a full RC truck. Hmmm Guess, for $103 delivered, a no brainer. This had a hard body and interior too. Gonna order this right NOW!!! See ya!!! Thanks. Getting the Quicrun 1080 ESC too, and a waterproof servo. Probably use a small plastic box or a balloon for the receiver. But. Thank you dude. You helped me make a decision I've been struggling iver for at least a month. Oh isubbed!

What an excellent build montage - it must have made the build take quite a lot longer. I sometimes wonder how you manage to juggle full-time employment, parenthood and your channel - you must be very good at time management! This initial run video is very gratifying to watch - it´s very satisfying to see how well the trcuk rides with proper shocks.

Thanks Del. You'll notice my top changed about 3 or 4 times in this video lol.. it was recorded over about a week. I'm very good at time management now...lots of practice haha. That montage is probably the biggest file I've ever had to work with...glad you enjoyed, luckily the recording was the long bit... the editing wasn't too bad...and the song was quite forgiving as it was quite a high tempo.

Chelsea Tractor - four wheel drive that never see's off road use. My land cruiser is decidedly not a Chelsea tractor, it's been stuck up to the transfer case on more than one occasion and had a river washing up the windscreen at Drumclogg in Scotland. We'd driver along that river the day before, the tent got flooded out from the rain storm over night.

Chelsea Tractor is a term for a city dweller's mode of 4x4 transportation. The owners of these vehicles always have paranoid delusions of catastrophic misfortune and somehow feel the need to drive the most ungainly and uneconomical cars solely within an urban environment
@asdgarage3882
@asdgarage3882 2 жыл бұрын
That same thought process of making fun of somebody because they drive a large 4x4 in the city to feel safe is the reason you brits in the UK have no fun or freedom anymore, you make fun of each other and those that don’t comply and then turn around and wonder why your all the same and being oppressed. If there’s somebody driving a “Chelsea tractor” I’d wouldn’t give 2 dumps, he can do whatever he wants so long as it doesn’t affect me or others immediately around me. That’s freedom, to be free without remorse of others “opinions” about your “Chelsea tractor”

@@crescentcoachworkscollecti378 All the consumer vehicles in the world make up around under 10/5 percent of air pollution. The fact that your this brainwashed is hilarious and I already know how much information you now lack of global warming and pollination. 7 cargo/transport ships make up over 70% of the worlds pollution, don’t believe me search it up. They have 40+ liter engines with no restrictions because they are almost always in international waters. Keep being an idiot, I could care less, you’ll die one also, I could care less, but before you believe everything they’ve been shoving down your throat the past 20ish years via the media you should probably do some research of your own. A small engine snow blower running for 1 hour cause the same amount of pollution as a vehicle driving 550km, vehicles are extremely efficient now not only combustion wise but also because they use around 14 parts of air to 1 part of fuel. If the EPA and the governments actually cared about the “environment” they would go straight to the source (cargo ships, dairy farms, factories, 3rd world countries) not the average person with a car truck or whatever that already proven to be more efficient and clean than a god damn snow blower 😂🤣

I prefer the stock wheels, as those rims are much more scale in look & size.

Add .39 cents to each dollar for pounds to usd so that esc is closer to $16-17 then$12. I'm in canada so its a different number for me, closer to $20-21
