The neighbours dont like them, they complain about car doors slamming and the noise they make when pulling up and pulling away, and there as been plenty of near misses with excited kids running into the busy main road.

I should imagine there's a bit of the old green eyed monster with some of the neighbours Mick. That said I'm not the one living near them. I know a house used to also do this at the bottom of Stubshaw on the bend near the Bryn Hall pub on the way to Ashton a number of years ago and neighbours there complained it was dangerous with people parking on the bend to take selfies and passing drivers suddenly slowing down to rubber neck.
