Vicious Spread does have a niche use with Dethcube's Energy Generator augment to well, generate energy. It drops an energy orb after every 10 assists, so you actually want dethcube to be less accurate in that case and tag as many enemies as possible in the slim window before you kill them.

@@kryvex4996 facts. they're unslottable as is except on the Vectis (which isn't relevant in current day) and the Felarx (can't run crit and has a horrible base mag size) and sometimes very niche builds for something like the Tenet Cycron.

I feel like Vicious Spread should be moved up to the "niche" category as it still works amazingly well on the Phantasma. It doesn't seem to reduce its focused damage much at all and the wider beam spread lets you clear entire rooms at once.

17:10 Dunno if you forgot, but there is another use case for them, most beam weapons are unaffected by -accuracy, it might not always be better, but it's pretty much free damage on weapons like the atmos.

Vicious spread is mandatory to make shotguns in this game feel like shotguns as some are way too accurate so they only hit one enemy at a time, or very tight spreads of enemies, vicious spread gives you a damage buff and increases that spread so you actually hit them. In addition, it spreads out the normally beam phantasma into a spread to hit more enemies which has the same effect, but even better since its a beam. Tainted mag allows early game Tonkor users to have a two shot build, increasing their burst dps significantly to alleviate the low status procs they will be dishing out. Hollow point is also a niche, in a few weapons where you have one slot left and not sure what to add, it does increase your overall damage a little and can help for pure viral builds where you are not going to add other elemental mods.

It's about damn time we get more corrupted mods. And preferably ones that are a little more interesting. Like more health in exchange for more shield or vise versa or even mods that use the current stats in different arrangements like increased strength in exchange for low range called Focused Assault or something idk I'm not a game designer 🤷🏻‍♂️

there is the costumization too, if u have 2 fleeting, one being rank 5 and other being rank4 to combine with rank4 streamline and get that sweet 175% efficiency cap situations where u need to reach some thresholds so having 2 sets of warframe corrupted mods, with the max rank ones and others being 1 or 2 ranks lowers to mix and match for instance; rank4 overextended + rank10 transient fortitude = 105% power STR / 175% range rank4 fleeting expertise + rank10 primed continuity = 105% duration/ 50% efficiency so on and so forth

That may be true, but that's probably with Arcane Energize, primed flow, and a maxed Zenurik. The amount of extra high level stuff needed to replace one mod you can get reasonably early only goes to show how strong Fleeting Expertise is

IMO S should only have fleeting and fortitude (or they should get their own SS/S+ tier). They are pretty non-commital and fit most builds on most frames, while everything else there is more or less situational and/or benefit specific frame builds/weapon classes.

instead of making forum posts, i'll post here, as DE is paying attention: Craft Time: Weapons, warframes, companions, everything takes too long to craft. I tried getting a friend to play warframe, he saw “oh, there’s sword and shield weapon, I want that.” Then he found out he needed 24h to make a forma, then 24h to make the weapon and never played warframe anymore. For veterans, I think it’s okay to have long crafting time, we already play the game, but new players want to experience stuff and are less willing to spend money on platinum. • SUGGESTION: Craft time based on weapon mastery rank. If it’s a mastery rank 1 weapon, it should take max 1h30min to craft (making a mastery rank 16 weapon take 24h to craft). You’d want new players to advance through your content and experience it.

I agree, but I understand why DE does this. I don't really have a problem with things that take 24hrs, I just feel like 72 hours to craft a new frame is a bit much. As a minor correction: Forma takes 23 hours.

I'd really like Magnum Force to be at least as good as Hornet Strike. I like to run this in combination with punchthrough on Razorwing Blitz Titania to spray and pray hallways of enemies. Running it instead of Hornet Strike reduces my gross damage output and I don't like that so I have to run both currently.

For Anemic Agility on Titania, she already has a mod that already hugely upgrades her fire rate, far higher than even anemic agility, its Razorwing Blitz. The only real reason you'd want to run this mod on her is because you don't want to run Blitz at all.

As a titania main, I must say that [razorwing blitz] is a huge part of the fun in playing titania. Being ludicrously fast is titania's main attraction point for me. Controls have been improved greatly with the archwing rework, and its not like you have to move at max speed all the time. Slow down for narrow corridors, go full throttle otherwise. It isn't half as fun without blitz.

Ah yes vectis prime builds for Eidolons hunts that was super effective good times; now we have Necromech and we can do Eidolons in 1/8 time than that vectis build existed. Well placed volt shield and a Necromech drops the Eidolons in about a minute with the guard mode one of the Necromech.

Phantasma alt fire also scales with magazine size, so if, for whatever reason, you wanted to build for that, Burdened Magazine does have a SINGLE use, since it can stack with Ammo Stock.

It's been a while but i did the math and realized that it does come out just better when mixed with primed chamber, the other one wasn't even close. But honestly I do it as much because I prefer the single shot mechanic of the vanilla vectis, so if it got power kept, I might keep using it.

i would love if these mods were expanded upon: having transient fortitude and blind rage for strength is nice but can we get one more for duration, efficiency and Range, they could be looked at as more optionshaving more range is nice but if you are using duration as a dump stat and want streng then havg a range mod that does the same as over extended but minus's duration instead of strength would be really good.

As much as i would want this every time i am making a build, i guess it could actually reduce the interesting aspects of building your builds, if you had +/- mods for every combination every build would be "dump x and get every other stat extremly high". which would be kinda lame. However they could try to make +ability xxx mods with other interesting up/downsides. maybe even crazy stuff like "+ 100% ability strength for duration based abilities and -90% duration" or "negative efficency increases range" something like that. Stuff to get excited about and make crazy builds. Also we definetly need augment mods for the infested helminth abilities :) "Empower Augment: additional +50% Ability strength and - 50% ability efficency, both scaled by ability strength"
