My fave was definitely the Leif stall! That was so good, so cute, and I really like your "cart" design! I really like your style of decorating, but I do just want to say, cottagecore is a bit different than what you're doing lol. I'd say you have more of a fairy core style, with a tiny bit of cottagecore mixed in. Cottagecore is more using ALL one color of EVERYTHING, in different shades, usually white...such as all flowers in white, furniture in white, mix in a bit of beige, light browns, etc. Having organized chaos, using lots of light colored rustic things.. know what I mean? But again, no disrespect! I love your style and design ideas! 💜

Miss Swazzy yeah I see what you mean! I tend to decorate more in the “naturecore” aesthetic but I know that a lot of people use these patterns for their cottagecore islands! Thanks for the feedback

for all those who are confused about the sundial’s numbers: you only arrange them on a half-circle, from 6am on the very left, 12 at the top, and 6pm on the very right side. It’s not a circle because the shadows won’t cast onto the other side - it will be dark by then. A lot of sundials IRL have all the numbers displayed on the half circle, but with AC’s grid system, I imagine it would be hard to execute.

I noticed this too, a number 5 was placed where a 3 would normally be on the clock, however I think this is because that's how the sun pattern works, so when the shadow points at the roman 6, it's 6pm, even though the places are incorrect!

@marifullofgrace4 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure that the 3 and 9 would fit considering how the AC grid system works for paths/patterns. Sundial numbers go from 6 to 12 to 6 usually, and you only need a half-moon/semi-circle to make the design.

Loved this video, some really nice patterns, I need to find a space for the pink and purple flowers as I love those sort of designs. I hadn't realised how much dimension they add until I flattened a side of my island this week and it looked so weird without any designs! Hoping you might give Kanda (Kanda_em) some love for her patterns as I think they are great for natural or cottage core islands, not sure if you've already seen her stuff but just in case: MA-8511-9497-6748 and her second island has a some too MA-3931-8512-1700. She has stones, wooden planks, flowers, lace and some lovely clothing - I'm sure you'll recognise them from island tours when you see them! Loving the content as always! :)

Not sure if people know this but those Roman numerals aren’t the correct Roman numerals. V = 5 and VI = 6. From my understanding of sundials you want the 12, 3, 6, and 9. So the two that are missing is III = 3 and IX = 9. I could be wrong about sundials but I do believe this is how it’s supposed to be
