I just received the 100% pure mascara in my Love Goodly box and it was pretty much the reason I picked up this box since you and Rhian both speak highly of it. My favorite cruelty free mascara is Ecco Bella flower color. I have it in black and brown and it is one I keep repurchasing! It gives me great length and some volume, doesn't smudge, and lasts all day. I also love the brush. I'm going to try these other mascaras and see how they compare. Thank you for the review! I struggled to find a great cruelty free mascara when I switched; I hope this video helps make the transition easier for some people.

I think I'm on my fourth maracuja from 100% Pure. I like it even more than their regular mascara for all the reasons you said plus the ingredients make my eyelashes grow longer and thicker! No joke. Something about the oil or I don't know what... less lashes fall out. And yes the blackberry one smells heavenly. That Root sounds fun though. I may give that a try too!

Might try the Root mascara, I was skeptical because of the short wand but hearing you talk about it makes me wanna try it and I always want more length. Also love the Dream Big mascara, and I would try the Biolash if it didn't have palm oil in it.

100% pure mascara is so good, I have it in Blackberry shade and it smells divine. I also love Medusa Witch Lash mascara,it's worth to try. I am planing to buy Lily Lolo this time. Also the good one is Illamasqua mascara(raven) but it contain beeswax,I got it as a present in mini version so I gave it a try, I wouldn't buy it for myself but must say works well.Anyway Illamasqua has more great products but only certain amount is vegan. I asked them if they gonna do something about it and they said Yes, they will be doing more vegan options. So fingers crossed.

I used to use Milani Lash Trifecta but i wanted to venture out to a diff product. Im looking for a mascara that gives my lashes length, esp my bottom lashes. i STRUGGLE with lengthening my bottom lashes & my bottom lashes arent even short lol but thank you again for sharing! ill be checking out that demo that you did for the pacifica mascara... take care girl!

The Dream Big mascara would barely deposit any mascara on my lashes so I returned it and got another one and same thing! I think I'll have to try some of these other suggestions. Great video, you look gorgeous! ❤️

Hayley Anachronism the exact same thing happened to me. I can sit there for hours combing my lashes and it looks like nothing. I was so confused because Rhian and Tashina both rave about it. Guess it's just not for us haha

With Dream Big, the application can really change how it looks. Even just doing different layers with the long and short wand can change it a lot.

Tashina Combs I even tried to put it on with my favorite primer on under and it did nothing...I might have gotten a bad tube or maybe it just doesn't work for everyone. I'll try it again with that in mind though, thanks. Still love Pacifica and will try out their other stuff:)

@Madeline Stern I think they recommend so many Pacifica products because they get a kick back or get paid to do so. I haven't seen any other youtubers rave about that brand as much as they do....I just wish they were more transparent about it because it makes me question everything she recommends now. I've tried lots of Pacifica and honestly, there's nothing really to rave about in my opinion.

So glad you liked it!! I don't know of any vegan waterproof mascaras, but the Pacifica Aquarian Gaze is water resistant and probably your best bet.

Diedra Huizar I like the Aquarian Gaze. I wear contacts so prefer waterproof/resistant mascara. I've found the trick with it is like Tashina said with the Root mascara--use the tip to apply it to every lash and build it up that way. Just beware buying an old tube. It's a drier formula than Dream Big and will flake if the store kept it on the shelf too long. 😉

Diedra Huizar I really disliked the Pacifica Aquarian Glaze mascara. It was so difficult to work with. Every single time I would have some huge glop that would fly off onto my face. It was also an incredibly damp formula that almost never dried. And all that for 16$ a pop? Um hell no. What I'm using now is the elf primer and waterproof mascara they both work so well! And only 3$ a piece. Also there is blinc they have a tubbing mascara that is vegan and waterproof. And also beauty without cruelty has a waterproof one too. However they're both not at all cheap. I personally didn't want to spend the money because of my experience with the Pacifica one. There is one other but I can't remember what it's called. I only know of five in existence.

I hope these mascaras work better than the physicians formula jumbo lash mascara (which not only flaked/smudged terribly, but burned my eyes). Since that bad experience I've been nervous to try any natural mascaras. I really do want to buckle down and only use cruelty-free mascaras but it's also hard finding good ones that are not waterproof but still won't give me raccoon eyes.

Doesn't look like it has a brand on it anymore. But it does fit my eye shape fairly well. The curl holds if I use a CoverGirl (ew, I know, it was a gift during the Holidays and I didn't want to waste it) waterproof mascara, but I haven't had any luck with natural brands or even my Tarteist mascara holding it.

My lashes often go limp after applying mascara. I curl them but once the mascara is on they drop (they hold a curl without mascara). I'd like to try the Eye of Horus for that reason but SO expensive!! Any other recommendations for this issue? Thanks bunches!

Have you tried holding your lashes into a curl after applying mascara and until it sets? You could use your fingers or a spoon for this. Sometimes it helps to curl before mascara and do that after. If it helps, I do have a discount code for the Eye of Horus mascara. It's in the description.

Erika I'm personally not a fan of their Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara (it smudged around on me and flaked), but the Gifted (brown wooden tube) mascara is the one I use every day now! Good stuff. None of these mascaras are accessible to me! I have not seen these brands in stores here in Canada. I'd have to order online and then pay shipping for Canada or if I want free shipping, I need to buy other stuff and that makes the total too much for me. I'm a full-time college student so not only is the accessibility a problem, but the affordability also seems to be a problem. Tarte's parent company is not CF so the money you spend on their products goes to the parent company that tests on animals so it's like your money is still going towards animal cruelty

Since vegan and cruelty free is such a small part of the market, eventually I probably am going to run into that problem. For example, I buy vegan food from a non-vegan grocery store. :) I personally feel that I should buy vegan and cruelty-free wherever I can. the root mascara was the worst, it's great for a natural look but when I tried to build them with a two more coats it was fine... until running errands and then I return to raccoon eyes and flakes all on my cheek. The eye of horus is WAY TOO expensive. $38 even when you do the GODDESS10 ($10 off discount for new customers) as the LOGICAL HARMONY code only gives $7.60 off. The international shipping is $10. Going to try Lily Lolo instead which is $25, which includes shipping ($5).

To grab attention of large audience, I think you should do a real baddie makeup with all this falsies, liquid lipsticks, contouring and etc but with cruelty free and vegan products to show people that they don't have to use cruel products.
