Hey hi Sandip! Actually as a budget traveller, we had already planned that we would spend less Thai currency during the trip and hence we carried more US dollars and less Thai Baht, so that if we needed some Thai Baht then we could have converted some US dollars into Thai Baht as per our need and would have spend those Thai currency in Thailand. In this way we would not have any Thai currency left after completing our trip🙂

Yea you're right Jaivek. Exchange rates are almost always better in Thailand but a good strategy is to take enough local currency for your first day or so, and change the rest (not at the airport) once you arrive.
