LOL! You made a funny! Simple answer, they don't. Asian manufactures don't give a f*ck about copyright laws. Typically after 3 months of receiving your pin they will be available on Alibaba for anyone to buy. 👏🏼

There's no way of "knowing" unless you want to get into doing contracts and no factory is likely to accept that unless you're making a BIG order. To be safe, I'd say just use factories that are recommended by people you trust. Hope that helps.

@@Pinlord That was my fear. However as someone just now getting interesting in pins and pin making that is hard since we don't really have connections in the community. On top of that, most of the videos I am finding as well as posts on instagram seem to be saying that asking for someone's manufacturing recommendation is considered rude. Do you have any recommendations on how to go about that from a newbie's perspective?

One question! I read your article and saw that the majority of the manufacturers you mentioned took minimum orders of 100 pins. Would it be possible to send them, say 4 designs and have them print 25 of each? Or does it actually have to be 100 of each pin?

First I want to thank you for your inspiring videos that help so much to begginers in making enemal pins,and I have a question, of the factory where I will show my design of my pins will agree to make 5 different design and each of them to be 20 pieces instead of 1 type of design per 100 pieces ?
@Pinlord6 жыл бұрын
Heya! Thanks for saying that! No, they have to make a mold for each design, and that incurs into costs so thats why they require a minimum of 100 per design (per mold).
@Pinlord5 жыл бұрын
Nope, most factories will do 1 design for a minimum of 100 units

yes, it should include shipping but itll also depend on your design. some are more expensive than others depending on size and detail

How do you know what the conditions are in the factory? If it safe and the workers are fairly paid? I’m finding most manufacturers are not mentioning ethics at all. One I have found that does, but doesn’t have “proof” other than going by their word.

What is a reasonable amount of seconds in a batch of 100? Great video by the way!
@Pinlord6 жыл бұрын
It really depends on the factory. What people consider a second really depends on the person and how perfect they want a pin to be. Its natural to see some slight defects in a batch of 100

It should be the same price for all, except you wont have to pay the mold fee

Hi, first of all, thanks for sharing info on your blog and KZbin. As everything must be imported for me (France) my main concern would be the "extra taxes" ie. custom taxes + VAT (20%) + delivery admin fee. I am searching a lot these last weeks and I need your experience on this. Do some manufacturers include those in their price or make it for free so that we do not have to handle with this at the arrival? Or do we have to go through anyway? Thank you for your help!
@Pinlord4 жыл бұрын
Heya! All manufacturers have to do the same paperwork. I'd love to help you but the problem that tax rules are different in each country and I don't know what they are in France. I'd say ask other pin makers in france and they are likely to have better answers for you.

Hi do the companies you recommend accept PayPal or some sort of insured payment gateway? Otherwise how do you insure that you will get your product after giving the deposit. Alibaba has their Trade Assurance thing but I find the entire site daunting. I'd rather go with recommended sellers like the ones you mentioned.

Have you ever worked with and/or have any references of the manufacturer Gs-jj? I've been looking through their reviews for a while now and they're surprisingly good (almost too good to be true lol) so, I've felt tempted to place my first enamel pin order from them due to their "affordable" prices but idk, it's still a bunch of money that I just don't wanna waste on some bad-quality product. Would love to hear your opinion :) Sending positive vibes your way and Thank you in advance!
@Pinlord6 жыл бұрын
Heya! I've never worked with them. If it seems too good to be true it probably is. I'd recommend working with Peter from the factories I recommend if low prices is what you're after. Ive been in the business for many years and they are the best quality for pretty much the lowest price you'll find.
