I’ve been using the structure 25 this year after seeing Cole Hocker and Cooper Teare using them for pretty much all their mileage lately. It’s a heavy shoe and doesn’t provide much excitement, but the shoes seem to disappear on the foot and I’m never thinking about them at all, which is a great quality for a daily trainer in my opinion. They are still eating up the miles after putting hundreds on them already.

I’ve grown to prefer daily trainers to have just enough stack to not bottom out, and firm enough for the stability. So now my eyes are on the ASICS noose tri 16. I tried the SL2, but the fit is just too narrow.

Thank you! Puma has certainly made a comeback in the running shoe market in recent years. But this video exposes how the different modell in their lineup overlap each other. The Velocity Nitro 3 is meant to be a daily trainer, but as you point out, it feels almost like a max cushioned shoe. Then there is the magnificent Magnify 2, which I guess is intended to be a max cushioned shoe, but can by all means be used as a daily trainer. And this autumn Puma has also released the MagMax, which is truly max cushioned, but which can also fulfill the role of a daily. In addition to these, they have the Foreverrun, which although labelled as a stability shoe is also one to be used as a daily trainer. It is all a bit confusing…

Current daily is the Mach 6.My first hoka shoe. Good at easy paces but comes alive when the pace is increased for some tempo sessions. Yet to try it on longer 15km+ runs.

I love Mach 6. For me it's almost a perfect daily trainer. Why almost? Because of those 15km+ runs - the ride on long runs is not as great as on any other type of training. But other than that? No notes :D

I have the Novablast 5 on preorder. Looks like a banger. My Adidas SL2s are holding up great. I don’t know if the Zoomfly 6 is a everyday but I love wearing and running in them. I have high hopes for the Hoka Skyflow as an everyday. I’ll have them this weekend to try. Next years models from the major brands look pretty exciting. Brooks makes some great shoes just to hang out in.

Reebok should’ve left that x shape torsion thing out you really feel it after 5k I occasionally reach for the floatride 4 as it’s way better fit wise good for xcouutry running

Oh man, we do need all that rubber and designed gem in the Velocity Nitro 3 ! I'm extremely fast with my Velocity, much because the out of this world push forward from this rubber and the combination if the stabilityin the forefootand n the Nitro foam . I got my PB in 5km and 10km with the Velocity ! Beat my times I had with the Adios 7 and Magic Speed 3. And even the SuperBlast 2 ( amazing though to long runs to not get too tired afterwards) was a match !

You’ll absolutely love the deviate nitro elite 3’s. You’ll get even faster PB’s in them versus the Velocity Nitro 3, I say this as someone who owns both shoes. The DNE3’s are phenomenal

@@MiracleWarriors the elite 3’s are wider than the velocity nitro 3’s, and a bit longer too, only because the elites have much less padding all round compared to the velocity’s. The elites are narrow in the mid foot, but I have a bit of a wide foot and had no issues with the mid foot whatsoever. I don’t have the regular deviate nitro 3’s so can’t comment on them

Tried the peg41 in SD when they launched it and they felt so hard so didnt bother and bought a pair of Saucony Guide 17 for my daily along with the Hurricane for longer runs and then i bought a pair of endorphin pro’s for race day so i think im converted to Saucony 😂

@ Ive loved the 38,39 but felt the 40 was a little harsh and what bounce they had fizzled out after about 100 miles so wasnt expecting much from the 41. I think its a lifestyle shoe now similar to Adiboosts. Ive just picked up a pair of Speed4’s for £131 and those are the last running shoes i buy this year! How longs left till 2025 😂

I bought some Velocity 3's, both because up here in the frozen north, grip trumps everything else for the next few months and because the beguiling Sagasu - who approaches the somewhat prosaic matter of reviewing running shoes with the analytical chops of Crick & Watson - told me to. However, they are a brick and about as cushioned as a Gervaisian put down.
