These two are perfect figures of their animated adaptations, Kaibak looks great with the repaint/resculpt. Amazing work as always!

DCUC was really great at covering all the big ones as well as some deep cuts, but I still always wished we got a Marvel Legends style line for the DC Universe as well.

I agree, it was mostly their articulation scheme that held them back because the base torso was pretty great looking. They never really got around to proper double joints until it was too late and the Horsemen's headsculpts varied greatly in quality. Pretty much all of their female figures sucked too.

These figs look amazing! Too bad I missed out on both of them. I managed to get the new 52 Darksied to use the head to make a custom Darksied. The head I’m using is from the Darksied Figure that came from Mattel which was using a masters of the universe figure? Yeah I saw that the head looked kinda big on the Figure but it scales well with a ML baf body.

I certainly think Storm's figure is better engineered but in terms of just emulating the character I think this one is unbeatable.

I mean Darkseid is always looking down on everyone including Superman so him looking down and being a bit taller adds to the character the figure is Presented

I know i may get sone heat for this. I wish hasbro had this License, The articulation and sculpts just seem to be a little bit better but that's just me.

Its kind of a double edged sword, Hasbro are in a good scale and I like the joint setup but they reuse the same bodies over and over. McFarlane has dedicated sculpts for everything, way better paint and they’re doing way better with delving into gaming versions of the characters.
