a big portion of the twilight movie was actually filmed on a 90 acre piece of property in southwest Washington along the Columbia river, directly across the Columbia river from multnomah falls, called the shire, it’s private property that my sisters husband works on, he was actually an extra in it, he brags about his calf being in the movie.

Thanks for the vid and agree, anybody interested in the Twilight series would really enjoy stopping in Forks. One of my very favorite life memories is buying breakfast from an older woman right on the beach at Neah Bay before one of the Makah tribe gatherings - really incredible.

My son did an internship at the Washington Department of Natural Resources in Forks, Washington. I enjoyed the area and enjoyed my visit with him. The DNR has many places to stay for cheap. He is now doing a Forestry Engineering internship at the DNR Enumclaw, Washington. If you're heading in that direction, look him up. He can give you some information on good hikes. His name is Matthew. BTW, I enjoy your videos and your cousin's. Safe travels.

Nice! My wife and I watch yours and your cousin's updates every weekend without fail. Interestingly, we took our daughters to Forks and La Push after the Twilight books were published but BEFORE the movies came out. You wouldn't believe it, but NOBODY cared a wit about 'em. We asked lots of different people there and only one or two had heard of 'em and knew they were set in their towns. Pretty wild.

Ive been living in a class A RV for about 6 years. Went from oregon to Wisconsin and back again. Ended up in port Angeles and setted in Westport after a bit. This area of the state is some of the cheapest places to live out of an rv in the country. I pay $400 a month for lot rent and i live on the coast. Lol good times i tell ya.

LOVED this video Sarah!! Im a huge Twilight fan as well. Been to Forks right after the series! Portland area has a lot of places where the movie was filmed. The cafe in the original is in Carver, OR. The forest scenes you played out were filmed behind The Cliff Inn restaurant near Carver. Bellas house with Charlie is in St Helens, OR - the high school they attended is the High School in Kalama WA, you can see it at top of hill off of I-5. Ok Im done!!! Lol
