On November 26th 2018, the world lost a titan of animation, Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of Spongebob Squarepants, passed away from ALS complications. Now why on earth would I cover "The Best Day Ever" on arguably the worst day in Spongebob history. Well, I'm choosing to remember the best moments, the laughs and all the other best days ever that came before Stephens passing.

I agree the show and the 3 movies were cinematic masterpiece so sad for the creator to pass away they also made a tribute of him in the sponge on the run movie with the original concept art made by him. Rest in peace ❤

I never watched SpongeBob much in the past. It was something I never really got into. But I still gotta say it's said we've lost two great creators of pop culture. Now Hillenburg and Stan Lee will join the Reverend Awdry up in the Great Studio of Entertainment in the sky. Great Tribute, Mate! You went from Thomas music to a dedicated Spongebob Best Day Ever version for Stephen Hillenburg's legacy. I remember this song from the end credits of the Original Spongebob Movie and Season 4 episode based on the same name. We're really going to miss, the marine biologist who brought Spongebob to TV and as a Nickelodeon Classic.
