one good tip to help quick adjust is double tapping Y/triangle for corners, left dpad for d line, and right dpad for linebackers. This allows you to give individual adjustments without having to manually switch to each player. Great Video!

Suggestion: For me at least, it would be easier to see the adjustments and more of a run down of the defense in a practice mode. This would make it seem like more of an ebook which is easier to reference than in game showing. Just an idea I know that that's more time and effort but it would be so sick. LOVE THE VIDS!!!!!!!

@KurtBenkert The way we are taught to train in the military for optimal information absorption is: Explanation, Demonstration, Replication. So if you explain a defense, show it in practice mode, then show clips of it working in real games, it'll be easier for people to absorb. Just FYSA in case you were curious how the military would do it!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. You do a great job explaining what you’re doing and the concepts/reasoning behind it. Nickel is just a really fun defense overall. I like to play out of 3-3, Dbl Mug, and 3-3 Odd. I've been trying to dip into triple as well, but it hasn't been nearly as viable. I'm basically a casual as well, so I've just stuck with what works. There are a decent amount of playbooks with those sets in them too. I've been using Baltimore's D

A defensive madden video that isn't Dollar 3-2? We're saved. All anyone uses anymore is Dollar, it's actually kinda crazy how good it is. Great passing defense, and it's entirely way too good at stopping the run for a 3 down linemen formation, with safeties at linebacker(how everyone plays it). It's symmetrical though, the spacing is good and it makes adjusting easier, so that's why people use it. But yea, first time I've seen anyone talking about double a-gap nickel. Good stuff.

Is the application of this D self explanatory? I don’t have a great understanding of how and when to make the adjustments that you did. This Defense is super easy to beat if you're decent at Madden and can make adjustments with your offense. Drag routes, Curl routes, and Post routes with running under center instead of out of the gun will destroy this defense all day.
@alexanderlee2776 ай бұрын
@RedKingdom28 Best defense i found to run on H2H is Cover 2 out of the Nickel. When they cheese the flats, run Cover 2 hard flat and user the LB for Mid. Or run cover 1 robber for the cheese mid routes and user the FS. other than that, run cover 2 man for corner routes. Just got to be able to adjust to the players offense.
@MarkellCruz-uf2jb5 ай бұрын
Wide zone bro key to a good Madden 24 offense with pa shot plays and high percentage passes under center mostly and good d u can dominate people abandon the run too easily
@alexanderlee2775 ай бұрын
@@MarkellCruz-uf2jb I always establish the run and then setup the big play PA shots off of that. I also like to use the hurry up offense when I get big gash runs and audible to a PA play. My opponents can only take it for about a quarter and then they quit.
