post infinite, toxic deck and bounce deck with valkyrie, my mind went numb playing shuri for ten days to get from 43-infinite.

So personally I like keeping Beast to get Deadpool discounted to zero. I’ve also thrown in wave Arnim Zola and Knull in my list as well as like alternate backup plan. Sometimes if things go right you can set up for a Knull > Arnim combo. Or if you made Deadpool cost Zero you can play Knull along side Deadpool final turn and Knull kinda acts like a suped up Taskmaster. It’s pretty sweet and consistent as well. I’d recommend giving it a go once you snag Knull!

Hey Peter! Yeah I can see the point of still having beast, he does add a lot of value to the deck. Nice yeah Knull does seem quite flexible in some decks like this, I’m keen to give it a go. I think I’ll be picking him up with my next 3K for sure 👏 thanks for the suggestion!

Agree, Knull just makes destroy a powerhouse, especially with the discount as you mentioned.

I like this deck a lot. Forge and Bast are the perfect solution to accelerating the building process.

In the last game, I think he was anticipating Shang-Chi and wanted to juke him out. Really need to get Venom, then I'm definitely building this next. :D

Hey Actias, Yeah exactly. Although in hindsight Chavez was more power. I made the Valk play in case of a Shang, which his deck often runs!

Venom just appeared in my token shop today, just need 100 more tokens and I can play this deck. Got very lucky pulling Bast very early from Collector Reserve when the cards just drop to Series 4 back then

Ah that's Awesome, Venom is such a good card. Tons of decks he can shine in. Lucky on the bast, i'm finding she is super flexible in different archetypes!

In the last game he arnim zolad the venom because when u arnim the taskmaster he is retriggered so actually it would set its power to zola's which is 0 as he would be the last card he played

Hey Whooop! I’ve actually done this a bunch myself and interestingly enough that’s not how Taskmaster and Zola works. You actually keep the original power on both of the Taskmasters. It’s interesting that it works that way, but it does.

I'm pretty sure I watched like freshlobster's or someone's else video few days ago and the opponent played zola on taskmaster and then the taskmaster that went to the lane with cosmo kept his power but the second one went to 0 🤔 Maybe there were some different conditions or different play order, anyway thank you for correcting

@@whooop4062 hey Whoop, I actually thought it would work like that too, because of how the on reveal works. But I’ve learnt that cards don’t actually count as ‘played’ until their on reveal is complete. I’m not going to complain, I do love the Zola TM combo :)

In game 5, you could of played to Kill your dead pool again with the death lock, and made him 40 power, then turn 7 swing Deadpool right and you Would of had the game. I feel like you played Deadpool at 20 power, forgetting about the turn 7 from limbo lol. 😊

During game 1 you played Deadpool power 8 on Quantum Realm, why did the location took him up to 10? 😅

it affects the base power, any boosts arent affected by quantum realm

Hey Daniel, Vlad is exactly right here. It sets only the base power, it doesn’t reset the total power. So cards like deadpool, venom etc all still get great value :)

i dont think Knull is that good in this deck, unless you play with Beast to discount DP so you can play like turn 5 DP TM turn 6 knull

Hi Raidin, Bast can be replaced with beast, but I think Taskmaster is pretty important. If you have Zola he is an option though

How did your deadpool go from 8 to 10 then 20 in that first game?

For some reason the game seems to have thought that deadpool's base power was 0 and by changing it to 2 from the quantum realm, 8 became 10. No clue why tho.

Hey! So it's really interesting with the Quantum Realm, it will always set the base power to 2 - But it doesn't actually say 'reset'. So setting the base power to 2 doesn't effect the additional power that I had already applied to to card! So 2+8 = 10. It also works the same with venom who also starts at 1 power. Pretty cool :) Tested it a lot and it's a cheeky way to play around the location as only base power is affected, not any additional power.
