You can not beat a Dethleffs, we have the globetrotter xli and love it, the garage is huge, we can carry a fat tyre electric bike and fat tyre electric trike and still get everything else in.

Was bought new from the dealers - they wanted our old one and we were starting to discuss about a rear lounge van so you could say right time right place

Does the lounge turn into a bed and can you fully remove the table?

Hi yes the lounge turns into a bed by pushing the table down and adding a infill cushion. Not sure on removing the table completely but presume you can but that will be taking bolts. Table is fully moveable in all directions if you just want to move it for more space.

I am looking at buying the same motorhome have you ever driven it in high winds .

Yes you feel it slightly more than a normal motorhome but has been fine - have just taken normal precautions when I thought it was to bad.
