Excellent helpful video - thanks. I just flew the air 3 for the first time today, coming from the m air 2, and was so disappointed in the footage - clearly some settings I'd never had access to prior make all the difference - subscribed!

I have a question...Trying to always be prepared, I started IMU calibration on my DJI Air 3. I did it according to directions, but it's been stuck at 95% done for quite some time and it reads as "unable to take off." How do I get out of it? Or, can I expect it to be over soon?

Thank You Good lessons here. Does the drone have an option to have in camera slow motion like on my GH6 or does it need to be done in post. ??
@flyingfilmmaker6 ай бұрын
Yep it's in camera for the 100fps mode! 60fps is real time.
@JoshJetStream9 ай бұрын
At 3:24 why do you recommend 24fps specifically if you're in Europe? That's the only bit I didn't follow.

good morning, can you apply the same settings to the mavic 3 pro?
@flyingfilmmaker11 ай бұрын
Yep, basically all of the same setting apply to the Mavic 3 Pro as well! The only major difference is that you also have the ability to adjust the exposure using the adjustable aperture. 👍

Does anyone know if DJI have fixed the contrast/brightness changing bug when filming in HLG?
@braydenjones45053 ай бұрын
I don’t think it’s a bug. They have auto settings around highlights and shadows to boost dynamic range in auto mode. Kind of like what an iPhone does. They do this in the osmo action 4 as well. Usually it’s not noticeable, and usually makes the footage look great, but shoot d log m and download their lut from their website if you’re concerned.

Great video as usual. I do have a mystery question though? I have purchased an Air 3 but was disappointed to find that I don't have the option to change cameras by the use of the C2 button on my RC2. I rang DJI and they told me it wasn't possible ATM unless there will be a firm where update in the future? Any ideas?

It works fine now.

This video is extremely helpful. Thank you. Direct, very informative, and excellent presentation. QUESTION: Do you have a video, or can you help, to explain which density filter to use, when? May sound obvious, but considering the open aperture of the DJI Air 3, should I just use one filter, and leave it on, or should I change on the light conditions. I live in SE Arizona, where it seems the sun is ALWAYS shining, and the "friendliest" lighting is early morning and the evening... Also, planning a hyperlapse shot for the moon, and I'm curious about those settings... I subscribed immediately and plan on enrolling in ALL your courses. Great presentations.

Thank you for the video, very helpful. You mention we shouldn't use HLG color profile until DJI fixes the bug with adjusting the contrast and brightness of parts of the image - is there anywhere we can follow the progress of fixing this bug? Is it a software or hardware issue?
@flyingfilmmaker5 ай бұрын
I don't think DJI has fixed it, but I still use HLG quite a bit
