If you stand within 10 feet of a car on a dyno then you're pretty soft in the head, I've seen cars pivot off during a pre OBD emissions test at a much lower RPM.

Pro Tip: Running an engine on a dyno is only a few second function. Not 20 seconds under full load. Or in most of these cases, until it blows.

When a car manufacturer tests an engine on the dyno for regular use on the street, they run it at wide open throttle nonstop for a few days, But with the power mods some of these engines have they will only last for short pulls on the dyno, or maybe the drag strip. Or maybe less in these cases.

My favorite by far is the 6:10 minute mark, the one where the engine said, my people need me and launched itself through the front frame of the car followed by a HUGE fireball. Impressive.
