If you remote raid a pokemon and glitch out or get kicked out. You can still get back into the raid. You need to go back the raid tab (bottom right corner where you see 3 pokemon) and go to the raid tab. The invite your friend send you will still be there. So you can tap it and you will go back into it. This happened to me sometimes and did it on accident because I was worried that I lost a raid pass. Hope this helps if no one didn’t know this

You have to strategize the Gigantamax raids. One person heals, one person guards and two people attack. We took down a gigantamax charizard with 13 people and a “level 2” attack bonus.

I wasn't trying too hard to do GMax battles because I didn't think I had stuff to bring. I wasn't powering up my Dmax stuff. I finally saw a group doing some by me so I did do some powering up and wound up getting a 96% Gmax Venusaur, 84% Gmax Charizard and Blastoise got away from me. (my dog kept tugging on my hand causing me to waste balls) We did take down one of each though. We had about 12-20 people total. Here's the thing, its like raids back in the day. You have to power up stuff you normally wouldn't spend resources to power up so you can take down something bigger and better. 40 people going in with 1st stage starters, yeah, you aren't going to win. Don't bring a team of Ivysaurs. Power up your max moves over the pokemon themselves, have someone take on a healer role to keep everyone alive and it can be done. It just took people a while to figure out the strategy. Near me right now at 830am on Oct 30th there are 3 gastly dmax battles, 2 beldum, 1 falinks, and some Galar starters. not a bad mix. When drill bur comes out, hit those hard. power up 2 or 3 good Dmax excadrill to level 40 with level 3 max attack and max spirit to heal and if everyone does this 10-20 trainers should be dropping those Gmax toxtricity battles in the wild area at the end of Nov.

For the GMax Kanto starter event, mine went fairly well. I used the campfire for the first time and met up with a huge crowd of people and we wandered around and completed like 4- and I was lucky enough to catch all 4 (2 Charizards, 1 Blastoise (BY FAR THE HARDEST TO BEAT) and 1 Venasaur). I honeslty found the event kinda fun making me have to go do things with people like how raids were before remote raid passes but I get the struggles without having people in your local area.

Low key a good counter for most G-Max Gengar is Greedent: Double-resists Ghost and has access to both Dark fast and charged moves. I might use it as my main form of offense and swap to a Metagross for heals / shields as needed unless I see the Sludge Bomb charged move. I had a solid group with the Gigantamax raids and was able to catch four Charizard, one Blastoise, and one Vensuaur. Unfortunately, I also blew a catch on Venusaur and Blastoise, so I'm glad they're making Gengar easier to catch.

Pro tip- if you set your buddy as Zorua, it will only be xxl or xxs in the wild if it’s actually and XXL or XXS zorua, and you’ll skip the transformation screen. Keep in mind though it won’t appear shiny in the encounter, and since there’s no transformation the moment of truth is when you see it in your inventory

I finally got a shiny galarian zapdos! also I got 2 of the new shiny costume rowlet and a shiny costume piplup and a hundo morpeko from the win 2 raids field research did one of the costume gengar raids and the costume driftloom raids. Make sure you have lots of ultra balls and golden razz when you encounter a shiny galarian bird it took like 20 ultra balls and golden razz to catch it.

i played the gigantamax event in manhattan nyc which was great for finding groups, every power spot around the grand central area filled immediately, but even with a full 40 player lobby we still lost a few times (but this is probably because a majority of people had starter pokemon they hadnt powered up at all)

You DO NOT need Ghost pokemon for Gengar. Use a Dynamax Blastoise with the Bite quick attack so you have Max Darkness
