I just got this in Midnight (dark navy) with Palladium hardware. It's my 1st luxury bag and I am in love! Also, if you know you're going to cross body it all day or shoulder it, you can detach the top handle. And attach the long strap to the TOP D RING, and you can add almost 2 more inches to the long strap.

I agree this is such a great bag! I have it in dark beige and I loved it so much when I saw it I got it in hot pink also. I did put organizers in mine. I am petite so I can wear it crossbody. But I’m thinking of getting a fun Fendi strap.

Thank you for this video! How is the wear and tear of nappa leather in a light colored bag? does the hardware friction really discolor the bag within 3 months? is the nappa leather highly susceptible to scratching/peeling, esp around the corners?

@@StephanieSanchez-z2h I actually find the nappa leather wears really well! All light colored leather bags will color transfer if it’s rubbing on dark clothing but it does not scratch easily and I’m definitely not delicate with it. It’s not like a lambskin at Chanel where it will scratch if you look at it the wrong way lol. It is glazed on the edges of the flap and straps and over the years of continued use, that may crack but that’s also normal for any over used bag and easy to get re-glazed. Rotating between your bags will help last longer. I absolutely love this bag! I hope that helps! Thank you so much for watching! 🌟🤗❤️

I have this bag in beige. I’ve had slight colour transfer on It, but it came off easily with baby wipes. The leather is amazing. The newer versions have a longer top handle strap so you can wear it on the shoulder that way. I kind of wished I’d waited, but I like it so much I’m glad I didn’t. 😂 It is such a practical bag. I love your pink one. ❤

Anne - can you tell me does your longer shoulder strap have any joins in the leather? I’ve just had the beige delivered and there are 2 joins in the leather on the longer strap. Unsure if this is a flaw as it doesn’t looks the best for the money.

@@suemck4013 I think you misunderstood me. It’s not the long strap they made longer, it’s the shorter top handle. You can now put the bag on your shoulder using only the shorter top handle. The longer strap has stayed the same. Also, my bag is the previous version, with the shorter top handle, so I do not own the one with the longer handle. My long strap does have at least one join in the leather that I remember, but I’ll check again and get back to you.

There is a baguette on the website now also called pink and looks very similar to mine but I’m not sure if it’s the exact shade as it’s hard to tell on the computer screen. It’s described as a mauve in the description which makes me think it is slightly different shade of pink to mine but I’m not 100% sure 🙃

@@nicolebirk7129 Back a few years ago when I first bought it, the name was just called “pink”. There is one now online also called “pink” and described as a mauve pink. It does look close to mine but I don’t think it’s the exact same colour as mine as it does look like it has a hint of purple to the pink- hard to tell slight differences on a screen. So I’m not 100% certain it’s the same shade of pink they had about 6 yrs ago….i hope that helps a little?!

@ oh I love the embroidered! The nappa leathers will always be there. If the embroidered colours speak to you and you absolutely love the colours on it and you know it will pair well with your wardrobe, then go for it. Sometimes multicolor can be hard to match outfits so it depends on the colour tones so just think about your wardrobe so you know you will get good cost per wear out if your bag ❤️

Great review! …. And that’s why I have 6 baguettes! 🤣 I must say though that I have a white mini baguette and it did rub against my jeans for the day and I did get a slight (not very noticeable) color transfer. Fendi has offered for me to bring it in for a spa treatment to see if they could remove the very slight tinge of blue… but I am yet to do that! 😊
