I’ve used the Maybelline and Revlon shadows you mentioned but my current favourites are Kiko Milano sticks which you can get from Amazon. I dot gold in the inner corner, copper on the lid and blue and/or brown in the crease and under eye and give it all a blend. It’s not one and done (but it can be) it’s more scribble and smudge but once set it doesn’t move x

What a beautiful selection of shadows. Thank you! I have 2 of the Revlon ones, creme brulee and praline - they definitely do last on the eye! I was sorely disappointed by the Laura Mercier Caviar stick in Rose Gold (maybe it's just that colour because your LM stick looks more impactful/very lovely), but it does have staying power, I saw a swatch of the Laura Rose Gold compared with the Bobbi Brown Golden Pink and wow, I think Bobbis formula is the one for me!
@CarmelNicoleBeauty11 күн бұрын
Ah thank you so much! It’s a shame that the Laura Mercier didn’t work out, was it just too subtle? Thanks for letting me know because I had my eye on that shade! The Bobbi Brown are fab, probably the best stick formulation out there! It might be best to wait until you can swatch in store before you pick one up though, that way you’ll know how pigmented they are! Thank you so much for sharing 🩷🥰
@1827handmade10 күн бұрын
@CarmelNicoleBeauty It is a subtle colour (on me, I am quite fair), which I like, but it's more that on me it looks dull, as if I've added a touch of texture to my eyelids more than anything else, the shimmer doesn't pull through much. Those 2 Revlon shades on me are quite subtle on my skin tone too - but the light does catch the particles. I went to read some of the low reviews of the rose gold on the LM site and some said the same, that it is too subtle - but some love it! Maybe my batch was just a lackluster batch? I'm not sure!
