I'm a countdown fan myself, also if you have any of the masks that you buy, especially that gold Merét one, I'm convinced your chances go up, I've gotten 10 exotics in one day wearing it. Could just be the luck of the pool too I guess

If you can't see an area with your chosen loot as the targeted loot swap to a different character. The targeted loot is different per character.

This is not 100% accurate. Its different if you ran wony vs not running WoNY up to 40. So to clarify, if you ran NY expansion to get to 40, you'll have the normal targeted loot. If you ran DC to get to 40, you'll somehow have a different targeted loot (but no projects)

@@SCarter02767 You are correct. 2 of my characters completed WONY - same loot. 2 hadn't - different but same loot. Didn't spot there was only 2 types of loot rather than 4. 👍

Global events are a good way to grab exotics. Use ur stars to buy exotic caches, good way to get past seasonal exotics.

I farm level 10 and have amazing luck getting exotic. Level 90 has 3 bosses but they are way harder and take longer 😊

Exotic weapons rarely drop, unlike this video. Stock up on exotic caches to open boxes, this is more feasible. For low level people, playing Summit on Heroic mode is completely impossible, no one will team up with a low level person. Solo (Heroic) people like the channel owner have maxed out their gear, are high level and do not need to play in a team.

I mean, that's a given. Not everybody is at the same level of progress. Personally I can't say I get too many exotic drops in open world (control points) either. And that's on heroic with 3 directives (don't like the ammo and armor one). And Summit....didn't count how many I got during my run though all floors, but it wasn't much. Then again, I didn't farm a certain floor over and over neither. But the shd method is guaranteed. But obviously not for everyone. But once you made it to a point where you can benefit from the shd points on mules and have used them to max out proficiency on everything, you don't need all those protective fabrics and receiver components you get from trashing gear anymore. And titanium and the like doesn't cost many shd points to get the required amount. So all you need is water, food or components, which is easy to gather on a mule because you can fast travel around dc. And that's an easy exotic component for all your expertise need. That won't help lower level players naturally. But then again, they don't really need exotic components in those numbers yet anyway. And for the right players, this is valueable to know.

Bro honestly what exotic are you looking for especially? I am making a very strong PVP build in The Summit which doesn’t require exotic as a must. High end and Gear Sets can be stronger than whatever Red gear you get. Maybe red weapons are an exception but exotics are overrated, those following KZbin “meta” builds are not even cracking the numbers. Striker is better for PVE and PC players. Constantly hitting the enemy without missing is not realistic and yeah that got proven in Division 1.

A heroic/legendary farm requires a heroic/ legendary capable build, which means you need to have played diligently for about 300 hours and have a DPS build that has gear at 12+ and weapons 16+, meaning experience level 16+.
