Technically, the ej kai could be the best via AAM-3s but that would put it so far beyond stomping downtiers that you won't have fun. It'll be the F4 ICE syndrome but without ARH missiles.

I think you should play the JA37C, while it has the most middle of the road fox 2s in the game (9ps), it gets skyflash dogfights and an obscene radar at a br where there are things like early phantoms and a10s. It can carry 4 9ps and 2 skyflash dogfights, however it does kinda lack flares, with 48 large countermeasure spots

The base EJ is just a worse E in every way besides IR missiles. Only those are equal. Oh, and it has marginally better top speed/straight line retention for a much worse turn time and MER.

I'm going to call BS on getting spawn camped is a skill issue. I get aim7 from outside the range of the airfield aa before I can even drop down to the deck, while flare/chaffing. and keeping inside that aa umbrella means you're bleeding speed.

I think it would be on brand for you to use vowel-based weapons. aim9-L is not vowel based. aim9-E would be okay. Arguably L and P are okay though, and U wouldn’t be.
