Best race - Spa didn't even get a mention? From Max's outstanding rise from near the back to win it, to Alex's awesome fight to keep his points in the Williams. Not saying it should have won, but a mention in the shortlist was definitely worth it! (Btw, did the controversial one - that _won_ ? It was absolutely the most controversial one, but that was more of a huge loss, or could have been. Yeesh, that was freaking scary! We need a better title rather than "winner" for this category.) Speaking of F1 nerds.. I have no idea what happened to me in 2019. I’d kind of followed F1 when I was a kid (80s) but TV coverage was meh. I caught some simulcast practices, qualifying and races in 2019 and fell in LOVE with F1. Maybe it has something to do with me being an engineer and understanding the level of technology thar goes into the cars, not sure but I know I love F1. You can count me s a die-hard fanatic now. I’m also with Matt, a Charles fan and, in turn, a Ferrari fan but I also like Red Bull so yay.

Unpopular opinion: "Through Goes Hamilton" was the most overrated moment of the year and it would have won the award in that category. Hamilton fans only hype it up so much because Hamilton had so little sense of achievement. Now everyone (= HAM Fanboys) is acting like it was an outstanding overtaking manoeuvre (it was just luck). 30% for Moment of the Year is a joke…

I don't completely disagree with what you're saying but it was still the most exciting on track action of the year, not for the reason that it was some incredible move, because it wasn't, but because we had the top 3 cars side by side fighting each other. Also the moment carried on to where Hamilton was repassed, feels like all the hammy fans ignore that part

So what confiuses me about the whole discussion about the tracktors is that the FIA says that you cannot change the F1 car in a way to make a collision with a tracktor surviable which makes sence. But why can you not change the tracktor in such a way? Add barriers so that the F1 car cannot slide under the tracktor. Big Trucks on normal road have these big metal bars at the back to prevent cars from sliding underneath in a colision something similar could be done here to prevent the worst in case the FIA fucks up again.

The 'through goes hamilton' is a really overrated moment in my opinion, its only hyped bc it's hamilton and everyone forgets that he lost both places again soon after. Also other drivers have had exactly the same move in other races some even multiple times. It really doesnt deserve that second place in my opinion. Besides that, a really good video guys! Keep it up!

It is not overrated. It was a legit good pass. A double overtake. What more do you want, he was against two much faster cars! (The Leclerc overtake on Hamilton should be criticised too by your logic, because he literally got overtaken on the straight following the corner by Hamilton again.)

But only this one is hyped, which is just sad and disappointing. Eitherway it was an amazing season with alot of lovely overtakes and I enjoyed it alot, hopefully next season will be even better!

Because it was a good double overtake, with the element of surprise and good planning against two much faster cars. What more do you want Hamilton to do for you to like it? If you criticise this overtake, you have to criticise Leclerc's overtake on Hamilton for the same reason: he was re-overtaken on the straight immediately after the corner.
