One important thing: The element coverage sometimes more important, than over invested 1 DPS. The resources you need to upgrade 1 hero from 70 to 80 is almost the same as to raise new DPS to 70. Plus raising traces from 8 to 10 is almost the same as taking them from 1 to 8 So a better choice is to max your light cone and make a few good relic sets - these can be moved between characters and then try to level different element DPS to 70/80 with lvl8 traces. Of course if you have Seele, SW and will get FuXuan to build mono quantum - go nuts on Seele and max her out))

here's the main reason why you arent beating moc8-10 as a pure f2p you dont have elemental coverage because you havent pulled for that many main dps 💀💀

Pretty much yeah, but reaching 7 is good enough, heck even 5 is good. P2W and luck is all that matters when difficulty is just more HP on mobs with a timer.

Most boss shares the same elemental weakness so having 2-3 well built dps of different element is enough to cover all content. Supports are honestly more important than the dps themselves

lightcone is more important than character lvl u should get lightcone lvl 80 eventho u have 70 lvl chara because u can swap lightcone and lightcone stat have the same importance not less!

I have been bullying moc 10 for quite sometimes now... These are the important support you need... Bronya, tingyun, pela, asta, natasha/lynx/bailu, fuxuan/gepard/firemc/march7... Any DpS will work...

Hey! For F2P players, March 7th and Fire Trailblazer can be used if you don't have another sustain unit. You're right though, at 1:25 I did talk about the importance of a 2nd sustain unit. Lynx and Fu Xuan have seemed very strong pre-release, so keep an eye out for their banner!

@@o0oplzo0o1I recommend building march 7th as a sustain by perma freezing the enemy, get 100% Effect hit rate on relics and energy Regen rope to spam burst. Relic set will not matter cause u don’t wanna use her shield, just any piece with effect hit rate and speed

I might need some help with my account then. Im at TB 70 and i still haven't even tried to do the moc yet. Hell i barely managed to finish the first floor for that other forgotten hall that unlocks yukong when it came out. My luck has been pretty bad with relics and pulls, and so far i think my kafka is the only character that's okay right now, but im pretty sure I'll have to refarm her gear later on. And maybe imaginary dang heng if i can get a atk chain for him.

In gatcha games if you can't do something the solution is always very simple. Just get more characters or good gear. That is all. Oh... Just get lucky, wait forever or spent $$$. There is no other solution.

@@imlivid2746 In Genshin yes. You need some skills as well. But in games like HSR... It just pure stats. You can't dodge here ect. You have dmg or not. You have enough spd to get more turns or not ect. If you have good gear you can do full MoC on auto. If your relics sucks you will not be able to clear MoC no matter what. This video is about HSR not Genshin. So it's about pure stats. You can't just "get better" here.

Learn to build better teams (or manipulate your teams depending on the stage you are), learn to speedtune (many times you have the relics needed but you don't really pay atention), learn what to lvl up fast and what to delay, learn skill point management, learn when to use an ult and when not, learn what techniques are more useful for the enemies... Of course you need stats, but thats not all the game. You can clear things with less stats if you do things right and you cannot clear things with more stats if you do things wrong. Even if it is not genshin, it was a comparaison. I have played some gacha turn based and I have seen this with all the games

It's worth noting that "skill" doesn't just pertain to mechanics. Knowledge and strategizing also fall under "skill" and, yes, you do in fact "get better" in HSR solely by virtue of understanding the fundamentals of what you may or may not need. being "skilled" in honkai also entails knowing proper priority in burning limited skill points or foregoing damage in a cycle to prep your units for a better rotation next cycle due to incidents like your units getting stunned and you needing to bail them out with a cleanse, etc. You do in fact "get better" in this game in that regard.

@@imlivid2746completely agree, I know of a player with e6 chars that still can’t clear 5, the mechanics and gearing in this game are very in depth and require a lot of knowledge, like speed tuning, using hp main stats on supports (bc no website or guides hardly ever mention unless their niche like pokke/grim/etc ) just keep gearing and building and you’ll see differences, it’ll “click “

Only applies if the relic isnt absolute garbage. A 10% stat increase might sound nice but if the substats are bad its better to use a lower level relic that has decent stat distribution

Best "F2P" tips but then proceeds to use Seele and Silver Wolf. The problem that you failed to address is the toughness/elemental resist issue across 2 teams in MoC where actual f2p characters dont have Silver Wolf.

ive been stuck in MOC 8 until i got FuXuan. Because previously my team keep dying so unable for 3 stars clear it. Now my setup Bailu, Loucha, Bronya + IL Second team, Jy, Tingyun, Fire MC, FuXuan Running 2nd tank/healer reallly help me to clear it 3 stars with mediocore relics
