I’m glad I watched this video because I would’ve thought to blend it by separating them in halves as opposed to taking strands on the ends and blending smaller portions. This makes more sense to me.

So, I'm blending hair for the first time and I'm finding it really difficult -- anyone know how to stop the hair from tangling/shedding/knotting? For reference I'm using Xpressions pre-stretched hair, 52 inches, in the colors 350 and 130S, which I bought online; it had great reviews. I attempted to blend some of it, but it's definitely not working out, and I'm wondering if maybe there's something I need to put on the hair first before blending?

Hey, you just want to make sure you have a good grip on the hair and when blending, make sure the hair you pull is completely separated from the hair in your other hand before putting it back in with the bunch. This greatly helps with tangles and having to waste a lot of hair.
