Love watching a great cook in her kitchen. 2 tips to make baking squash easier that I learned from chefs: Please holes in whole squash & microwave 10 minutes. MUCH easier to cut after softened. Wait to scoop out seeds & stringy stuff until after baking. They separate from pulp easily. ❤

IF she uses a peeler, get her a Y shaped one. It’ll be easier for her to hold and use without getting her fingers cut. I add a little fresh nutmeg and a small dollop of sour cream to mine. I haven’t tried adding a potato but after watching Nonna I’ll definitely try that next time!
