If you’re using a canted laser and you use battle rage, the screen effect actually makes it so that you cannot see the laser at all when you ADS (at least that’s how it was before the mid-season, idk if they changed that recently).

As someone who’s used it, my only complaint is the screen effects that make it red and blurry. It’s pretty distracting and The blurriness also has gotten me killed from people I’d like to say I would’ve seen otherwise. Edit: I just saw you spoke about that towards the end of the video. The only real buff that I would give battle rage is for it to increase health if that wasn't unrealistic and overpowered. But a balanced buff would be to increase the duration or make it so kills refresh the entire duration overall

I heard somewhere that Battle Rage and Quick Fix do stack, it was something about being able to survive a thermite stick with BR+QF. Haven't found myself in the situation to test it in game yet. I also use Battle Hardened and Battle Rage and AFAIK the effects do not stack or if they do it's to a nearly negligible margin.

I wish I could take something like this for my workouts. Id just take a hit from the inhaler and go to town. Sounds similar to epinephrin. I use battle rage in game for domination hardline or any capturing objective where we need to rush enemy bases. Also good for getting out of a situation by quickly sprinting out of harms way.

Decrease the visibility changes, give a longer extension to time for kills, and maybe give a faster sprint to fire speed to take advantage of the extra tac sprint. That'd make this perk perfect.

I think you’re reaching for too much out of a field upgrade. Keep in mind the power level of the other upgrades. A minimal sprint to fire + movement speed stimulant would make for its own interesting field upgrade tho

Fun fact! The animation of battle rage use while riot shield is up shows the shield protecting you, when in actuality from others' perspectives, it switches to your back while you're gassing up.

I use this as my 2nd field upgrade along with Dead Silence. Been using it less and less, but, as mentioned at the end, the reduced visibility is kind of a PITA and it does take a while to regen while it lasts such a short time. Have been messing with portable radar as an alternate, but that only works well on certain maps for me.

I really hate the filter it gives you. Otherwise I'd use it all the time. It's pretty great in DMZ though, since it gives you a lot of free Tac-Sprinting to cover ground quickly at the start of the game.

Started running rage w the shipment release. This field upgrade was made for it. Activate it behind cover when you see dudes clumped up and you can really do some work! That tunnel vision shit blows fr tho. You just gotta know they're there or you won't see em at all. Not even if they run into your peripherals.

Kinda wish it made you faster (gave you temporary fast hands and speed), that and making the timer reset or add up after killing an enemy It needs a lot more buffs for it to compete with dead silenced in a limited life gamemode like SnD. Maybe if they also tossed in the quick fix effects and EOD/better tac mask it'd be pretty damn good (blurry vision included).

You didn't mention that, unlike dead silence, if you killed while activating battle rage, it will be lost, while dead silence is kept charged if you die after few seconds after activating.

I'm curious as to if battle hardened and quick fix would stack with battle rage. So if we have battle rage and battle hardened, would it be like using the Tactical Mask perk from BO3 where you're completely immune to tacticals? As for quick fix, it just immediately starts the healing process after a kill or down, and battle rage has a 1.8sec delay, but the healing process itself is significantly faster. So if you stack battle rage and quick fix, and you get into a gun fight, take damage, and win, would you get the immediate healing from quick fix as well as the ultra fast healing speed from battle rage?

Idk about multiplayer or warzone but in dmz if I find battle rage or dead silence I’ll keep it as my active field upgrade and leave the munitions in my backpack, then if I’m crossing a no man’s land and get shot at I’ll activate it so I can run farther.

I think battle rage should affect vision in a different way: high contrast and/or saturation, give more clarity to the vision and a slight pulsing effect combined with a fisheye effect tbh, that's something you'd expect from a drug. Maybe to nerf that "improving" effect they could make the user oversensitive to light sources, something that would give a buff to flashlights indirectly too

It's good, but it takes too long to charge, and doesn't last long enough. I use it every once in a while to change things up, and it just doesn't feel as useful as dead silence. The edge blur effect certainly doesn't help its case when the long charge+short duration are more than enough to keep it 'balanced'.

Battle rage already speeds it up by about 3x normal speed, the actual healing part is almost 4x faster than normal, the delay isnt as fast tho so it brings it down, i would assume probably heal about 4 times faster with both if they stack, almost instantly if youre getting kills as well which cuts the delay out entirely. It all sounds great but the ttk is so fast that you just die instantly anyways lol

With the vision debuffs Battle Rage induces, you also can't really see your own lasers. So if you're using a gun with a canted laser sight, you're going to struggle to aim it.

This is likely the culprit for most of the Damage SBMM rumors, if it wasn't for Dead Silence this likely would be called OP and get a massive nerf. Just for locking DS to the same slot there is enough to keep people from completely running it 24-7. This is powerful even in the hand of campers, as if you hear someone approaching you can pop this and they can't counter with most counter tools. This means your lethal grenade is sadly infinitely stuck on the drill charge.

This grain effect it adds has killed me more times than the field upgrade itself has helped me go on a streak. I use it 2-3 times until I get quick fix, then I swap to stims and dead silence. If it didn't have that apparent weakness, it would have been my go to field upgrade.

It sounded like a cool perk but the field of view and distortion breaks it for me. I tried it a few times in the original beta and realized it was getting me killed more than it helped because I couldn't see people as easily. The unlimited tac sprint would be god tier in S&D if it reset after kills and I had Ninja as a separate perk, as it stands you can't rush like that without being heard half the map away.

I know it's not stated but it also gives you explosive resistance. At least it has for me. I know more than once it has saved me from grenade spam in hardpoint. It even had the bomb squad icon flash on my screen while I wasn't running the perk. Though I haven't run battle rage since season 1 reloaded.

I've used battle rage since the start, and my friends don't use it as much but I LIKE that the screen is slightly distorted and blurry cause if not, there wouldn't be any downsides and it'd become a field upgrade that's utterly abused. So i hope they don't change that and i can have it all to myself :p lol
