TheUndeniableMr.Z Yes, you need to press the grab button as soon as you either see a grab or read that they are going to grab. The window to tech grabs is pretty short tho so it's a little hard. Also be careful on reading a grab, because if the opponent thinks that you are looking for a grab then they could punish you heavily.

Firestorm seems to need a damage buff. Gun was hitting like 3x as many combos as HoneyBee was but they just didn't do much damage.

So I watched a dink ranked set with firestorm vid because I saw all the comments. I can tell you he is definitely not the best firestorm. His whiff punishes are back one-two(he has meter every time he does it but still doesn't do molten trap(Maybe he cant?)) while gunny gets a full combo whiff punish. His corner combo game is weak, and he often drops the simplest of combos. You see gunny converting off of pretty much everything. Dink barely uses trait and gunny takes full advantage. Gunny is the best, end of discussion. (Edit) it gets even worse. I watched Dink play a tourney match and the first thing I noticed was that he always ended his combos with the fire torpedo. Even in the corner, he would never restand the opponent with the molten trap. That allows the opponent to wake up. Now the opponent was aquaman who can easily break armor with trident rush wake up. Dink went for a not meterburned forward three. I think his lack of judgment is why Gunny is a better player. Oh and the second thing a noticed. He popped blue trait fullscreen. He didnt do it in combos where its safe, but litteraly fullscreen and all three times got nothing from it. The last thing i noticed was that when he got molten trap next to a backround bounce he never used it. It would give him just a little bit more damage. His combos were also always the same he didnt even add background bounce to his combos, he just went right past them. Gunny is better.
