Interesting note on the GX Academy vs GX Pro: *the Academy seems to have a lower toe-box.* This is important to some people.

What does that mean ?

@@omidsadi8760 Effectively, the toe- forefoot of the boot's outsole doesn't curl upward as much as other boots in a resting state. So the toebox rests flatter and closer to the ground. This can affect both fit and how you strike the ball. Some people dislike a high toebox because they want the top of their foot to make a straighter line when pointing the toe down for shooting.

I had these for a while. Personally wasn't a big fan, felt kind of slippery on the ball especially if the ball or cleat got just slightly wet. My foot also used to slide around like crazy (mainly on artificial turf) and caused a pretty bad knee injury I'm still dealing with. Currently using the pros and like them much more but still not a lot. Was gonna try and go for elites but I have a wide foot so it's not the best option. Might go for some mizuno alphas or some kind of tiempo soon.

Do they stretch overtime? I have a wide feet, I tried em in a size up and still felt really tight. I tried the tiempo legend 10 Academy in a size up as well it felt better in terms of width but it's a bit lengthy, which I don't like.

Gamemode just doesn't fit well. It's less comfortable, the upper, even though it's technically hybridtouch, doesn't feel great, the soleplate is mediocre and the boots as a whole weigh quite a bit more than these. Given the choice between the two, I much prefer these Academies 👍

For CDM, go with the GX or Pred. The Mercs have a bit less foot protection when tackling. The Preds are a bit sturdier than the GX, but the rubber elements on the Preds are at greater risk of being ripped off when tackling. So that's a trade-off for you to decide between.

Actually yeah I found tiempo legend 10 pro in discount for 112 dollors however it didn't have my size I'm 9.5 and I heard it's more for defenders and I'm a striker. And the tiempo sold Abt 27 in the last 7 days and the phantom gx pro was the best with 176 purchased.I didn't like the color way that the tiempo was in discount and the only colorway which was in discount was the white and orange soooo I went for the gx pro
