The Best FPS MOD Ever ! RusMarines mod for Battlefield 2

I actually had this mod already downloaded but I had not really tried it out. Was playing some other mods instead. After watching this video, I tried it out and this is the best mod I've played for Battlefield 2. No disrespect to the other fantastic mods but the RusMarines mod is spectacular. Thanks for the video.

What are the system requirements for this mod? I mean is the performance worse than vanilla BF2 or AIX2 or is it the same?

@@Raven_ARG Well I have a super low end GeForce 210 thats why I'm asking. Alpha project mod lags a little at 720p but AIX runs smooth for me. As it is a very large mod so i had confusion.

HOW TO INSTALL: Right click on the files, then in the dropdown menu that pops up select download. then unzip using 7zip into your Battlefield 2/mods folder, if you don't have a folder named mods in there, create one, once that is done, start a single player game, click Community in the game menu, then select the rusmarines mod, click activate, it will re-boot the game and load the mod, then start a single player game.

The only thing I didn't like in this mod is the amount of ammo. You literally have 20 grenades and 10 magazines per weapon. You can also have an RPG and 2 primary weapons. Is there a way to limit that firepower per soldier in order to make it more realistic? Thanks

Thats what makes it great, you won't be stuck to depend on ai or teammates for ammo you can do everything yourself.

@@BOB--jy1fz yes but I find myself throwing 35 grenades in the same spot making impossible to AI tanks and infantry to pass through. It's excessive and ambient breaking sometimes. AI also uses rpg like primary fire weapon and the battlefield becomes a noisy explosive shit in a small spot.

Can someone tell me how to fix problem I have. First when map is loading, in background some error pop up ( memory dll sanity check block size 16777220 (16 MB) doesn't seem sane ) and map stop loading and I need to close that error with either continue, cancel or try again, doesn't matter what I click it's same, pop up is showing 2 or 3 times and after that my game continue loading and I start playing map. Although my pc is old it runs pretty nice and smooth until game crashes basically without any reason after 3-5 minutes of playing that map. And it happens always whatever map i play.

@@FrsT-hj1hi ok yea, for 64 players =8 gb of ram is not enough, if you can get two sticks of 8 gig ram - because you should always use two = for dual channel - much faster - and have 16gb that will drasitcally improve your game performance in bf2 and other game as well.

it will run it, graphics are scaleable so you can adjust them if needed to get best framrates, keep antialiasing at = x 2 and smaller maps with fewer bots will get higher framerates.
