After 20 years (let's include PES2 and PES4) I still very rarely score on penalty with the standard method. I do the Master League, I have 3-4 players above 95 but or I get the barrier head, or the post, or the goalkeeper is too reactive to catch the ball in the corner. Different story if I use the passage trick, but I just want to score a free kick normally sometime.

Very nice, how did you make ps2 emulator look so good? I have always struggled with free kicks in pes 6 while in pes 5 I can score them from every angle, so it is helpful to see how you aim and how strong the shots are, I often hit the bar as I put a little too much power on the shot. And of course stats and probably also the free kick style make a difference so I should train more with the different players and try to adapt the way I take FK more to the different players. Generally speaking, I love Recoba so he's my no 1 although I like the van Hooijdonk goal the most. Great video 👏🫡
