As a Brazilian who speaks both languages, I believe some of the vowel sounds are used as pronounced in Brazilian Portuguese plus his accent. It's a beautiful mix between both language phonemes. That's why. Besides he is really gifted.❤

About certain phonemes being a challenge for Portuguese speakers while singing, I guess it's not the case. In fact, As a Brazilian who teaches English as a foreign language, I believe it would make it even easier or comfortable for him to sing those notes if he knew how to articulate the correct phonemes. Since his first and legendary "I have nothing", his pronunciation in English has improved a lot. We can see he's been working on that, too. So, in short, we can make the phonemes without major difficulties, as long as we know how to articulate them. He's so gifted! I bet he'll fly even higher when he corrects that ❤️

Gostaria de ver quem fala em outros idiomas cantar em português.... na verdade, a língua portuguesa é uma das mais complicadas de se falar. Apesar que aqui no Brasil... cada região tem um sotaque diferente.

As to English and Portuguese...there is no th sound in Portuguese. The r is an h sound. Vowels at the end of words get lost. Jason is more Jasao and the e on the end of a word is pronounced like John Wayne...with a long e!! It takes changing how you move your tongue. Now try all that while singing. I give him props especially when you realize little English is spoken around him. How often do you hear Portuguese on a daily basis? That's how much English he probably hears!! Respect due to GH!!

Portuguese speaker can it difficult to sing in English. In most languages there are simply no use of “th” in words, and “R” sound is rarely used in Brazilian Portuguese.

Yes , every language the pronunciation, the voice sounds , the way the tongue moves , vowels and go on is deferent. For exemple : who speaks portugues , some english words are easy , but some words are completely difficult . Word like World is very difficult and go on To get better needs years of training , but , some people have gift from God to learn languages , this case is different
