it's got a huge modding community still, just get an ENB, an NPC beautifier (the more popular ones being EGO and OCOv2, I personally prefer EGO), stutter remover, texture pack, and clothing/armor/body/animation replacers, OBSE, and you're good to go. There are a lot of decent quest mods like Elsweyr: Deserts of Anequina and companion mods (Fergus and Vilja are great) that add a lot more content. I have a playthrough 150hrs long with 117 active mods and minimal crashes and stuttering on a computer than can only handle Skyrim on low graphics.

I played Morrowind as well. One of my favorite games as well. And i think the two games do different things better than eachother. But specificly i really like how alive Oblivion's world felt to me and that the sidequests had much variation and were mostly good. Specially if you compare to Skyrim. Really felt like one of those open world rpg games that made you feel like you could go in any direction and find adventure. It immerses me so well and mods helps even more with that ontop of that. Morrowind wasn't far off, there is very little space in between them on my top favorite list.

Crazy Owl Exactly, skyrim lacks the exciting sidequests that morrowind and oblivion had. Overall oblivion may be better; but the Morrowind had much more effect on me since I played it first. I wasn't following anything. I was just talking nearby citizens and tracking stuff. That experience is really hard to get through but once you get used to it, you clearly see the difference with them and today's generic Rpgs. I am happy to see someone else appreciates ESO series as much as me. Thx and cya

They actually removed the radiant AI because it was too unpredictable and would lead to important characters getting killed off screen, so the AI we wound up with was pretty weak. I’d still like them to try radiant AI again even if it’s a bit chaotic... it would be fun to see. Maybe include it as an in-game option?

ValensBellator i seen some stuff on that. The ai was committing crimes triggering the guards to attack. They could do it like Fallout New Vegas did with survival mode. Put a details screen and a warning screen in if you decide to do it. I think it would be awesome. AI acting on their own creating fucking chaos through out the game lol.

I must admit I love Oblivion... although it does have bad graphics, glitches and similar. It's fun anyway. I also enjoy Oblivion's quests and landscape much more than skyrim's. I wish they'd remake Oblivion with new graphics and the skyrim interface.

Casey the thing about oblivion is that it has character. Don’t get me wrong, skyrim definitely has its own feel, but there’s a charm to oblivion that Skyrim doesn’t have.

@@alexmarsh8464 it's the music. The Oblivion soundtrack is by far the best one in Elder Scrolls. It's what gave the game such an amazing atmosphere and charm.

Oblivion was way better than Skyrim, it had loads of amazing, and creative quests. Oblivion just had the worst NPCs, and Conversation system. In Skyrim, the cities looked lively and realistic, while in oblivion, they weren’t immersive, and realistic. Skyrim had amazing graphics in its time, but I don’t really care about the graphics in a game. I could say the same about Morrowind. Morrowind was amazing game, had loads of amazing quests, and interesting lore. Skyrim didn’t have much unique lore since it was just books added from other elder scrolls games. Overall, Oblivion and Morrowind are better than Skyrim.
