these are so creative! I love seeing different types of interaction/locomotion in VR

I've been trying to make a game for 1.5 years now (well actually sunday afternoons which works out to around 6 - 8 weeks) and wanted to enter, but I'm not ready yet. Thank you for putting this on, it's great to see the games to get inspiration, and what the scope of a 3-day game should be. Maybe next year!!

Mind blowing. I recently started doing VR tutorial on Unity, the sheer creativity and what people come up with in three days is astonishing

I was so happy to see that also :) thank you :) we are trying many new things with these mechanics as we speak.

Quite an achievement to make a VR game in 3 days. Been at trying Unity with OpenXR all weekend and now I can at least see some hands and pick up objects, lol. :) - Clearly there is a big hurdle to overcome at first before one can actually add content and some of these entries look fantastic to have been created in such a short timespan.

Same here that’s what I’ve been doing coding seems to be that hardest part especially with vr because you need to do a lot for stuff to work so the fact these were made in 3 days is crazy

Woah Thank you for showing Vien! You can Expect to see much more with these mechanics VERY soon. And check out our other game snake in a box In the meantime! It also uses inverse orbital rotation which is the gaze controlled box rotating mechanism.

Jam duration in 2020 was a week which was hard enough. This year was three days I believe. That made it extremely difficult. And some people who voted were apparently super harsh. A little discouraging, to be honest, but it won't stop me from continuing.

Can't wait for next year's jam! Personally, I'd prefer a week rather than 3 days - that allows for a better jam/life balance, and caters to folks with different sort of availability (some can only jam on the weekend, some can't jam at all the weekend, etc)

PLEASE HELP Hey i just whatched your video in which you rebuild your flat in vr. I think this could be extremly benifitial to people who had a stroke and are paralysed. Here you use a therapie where your good Hand manipulates thinks and a mirror is placed so that your eyes will have the illision that the paralysed side is doing that. If it would be possible to mirror the hands in this vr setup it would be a game changer for therapie. Do you think something like that might be possible?

What I mean is like a multiplatform game for Android computer iOS Oculus all the VR kind of things and all that Quinn's cool stuff and make it like multiplayers so multiple people from different platforms can hang out kind of like VR chat but like accessible with cell phones and you get to create your own custom avatars directly in the game and yeah

Hey Valem, big fan of your channel!! Keep it up :) I am working for a big Telecommunications Company and we are trying to enable Cloud/Edge Rendering with very low latency. Hence I am privately experimenting but currently still lacking a simple game to showcase the latency effects - nothing crazy... Multiplayer based shooting game in a way for Oculus Quest running on Windows Servers. Would probably take you 30 mins. But I can't do it. Maybe you have such an App already programmed and can modify it to fit our Stack. Would be highly appreciated. Maybe we can DM in case you are interested? Best, Nico
