i do wonder, if i service the board like one would how long would the board last if i use it every other day about 30-40 km?

Like anything, if you give some love to your board it will last you a very long time doesn't matter how many km you do!

For now, we are focusing on setting up the production for the Atrax, however, in the future, we might consider moving to gear drive also for the G4X chassis.

? Are you going to make gearbox water tight.... so can be filled with gear oil... like a car/bike.... so can be serviced as the oil will quieten the gearbox... and will last longer...

These gears will work better deep in grease. This gearbox is similar to what you can find in mid drive electric bike.
