The air tag is great for people who have young kids in places like Disney world just in case you get separated. My 5 year old doesn't have a phone but I can attach one of those to him and feel a lot better about his bouncy excitement through a crowded park

@@TeodoraHerwin if you’ve got an iPhone and there’s an air tag not linked to you traveling with you you’ll get a notification telling you. I’m not sure if you’ll get it with an android though. And if you get that alert you can use the app to find it and disable it.

My mom has one connected to her airpods, so when I go with her to a lot of places it shows that I’m following her AirTag and it alerted me that I was following an AirTag. I believe it was more of a safely against stealing the AirTag but if one was attached to me my phone would tell me it was near me often

When I was a Girl Scout, we'd sometimes have these story/skit fire pit gatherings when there was more than one troop staying at the same camp (same location, different sites). 9 times out of 10 my troop usually was in charge of the fire pit so when we had younger scouts there, my Mom (who was a leader in my troop) would tell stories of wood nymphs and forest spirits while throwing pine cones into the fire. The pine cones would change the flame colors to green, blue and purple depending on what chemical they had been coated in; much like those fire changing packets.

If someone puts an AirTag on you that isn’t registered to your iPhone your phone will notify you someone is tracking you and give you the option to disable it.

The deal with air tags is they work by pinging off of other iPhones, so if you’re out in the middle of nowhere the location only updates if the device passes near someone with an iPhone. I’ve used it on my dog out in the woods as a backup in case she did run off, it’s better than nothing but shouldn’t be the only method of keeping your pup safe!

No, they do contain chemicals. Strontium Chloride is salt and chlorine. 3 of the 4 powders in these packets are chemical compounds, the 4th (Copper Oxide) is the only metal. I didn’t pass Chemistry in HS for nothing 🤣

You could stick the air tag on your teen and make sure that they aren't getting into trouble. Like you can tell if they are at school or a like a club. Just hide it and make sure the noise is off and you can keep an eye on your kid without being there.

If an AirTag is moving around along with an iPhone that it is not registered to (for instance if someone put it on your car or in your bag to stalk you or follow you home to steal your car, etc) then a message will pop up on your phone alerting you that an AirTag is following you and it will give you the option to have it make sounds so you can locate it and an option to disable it. Apple is planning on making, or maybe already has made, an app for android phones so they can use AirTags and use other find my features as well but also get warnings of being followed.

Welcome to tips and tricks if u own a gas fireplace: •open the flute when fire is on •make sure the ashes and such aren't covering the gas line too much •place logs on metel shits before turning gas on •when gas is on (u will hear a swoosh) use a long fire starter thing •if u have a turn gas key careful. A lil turn goes a long way (u want to keep them eyebrows) •the burnt logs r always nice to keep under the new log, they light faster than a lamp turning on •get a fireplace gate, even without kids and dumbass animals it's best to have one cause it keeps the flyaways away from the floor •should b a hole that goes to hell to clean the ash. If not yeet that shit in the trash WHEN ITS COLD. That was your tips and tricks on a gas fireplace.

People use those tags for sex trafficing. They'll sneak a tag into a woman's purse and then wait for them to be alone and grab them. But if you have an iPhone it should detect the tag and alert you to it, but if you don't have an iPhone you'd have no idea.

The air tags are only sketchy if someone else attaches one to you without your knowledge. Which is worse for people who have androids (like myself) because iphone will tell you that an airtag has been close to you for an extended period of time. Without an iphone, theres nothing to notify you that its near you. But like someone else said, theyre great for giving to little kids in high traffic areas (disney or other amusement parks, etc) you can put them in magic band olders (thanks for the idea jesssfam lol) and attach them to belt loops, shoelaces or directly to your kids wrist or ankle and you can track them if they fall off and itll notify you if they leave the vicinity of where you are. You can also name them keys or kids names, etc

Since no one else said it- if an AirTag is following you without being connected to your device your phone (if it’s apple) will notify you that it was been following you after 15 minutes. It gives the serial number so you can report it to the police.
