Gfriend at 17th is upsetting, and dissapointing... Like bruh, that song was literally being used as a way to not cause a war between north and south korea, it gave gfriend most of the rookie of the year awards (except MAMA cuz its MAMA), and the actual message of the song is so empowering, and before they blew up, the thought of a group from a small company being on par with the big 3's groups was almost unheard of, when gfriend came in, they inspired smaller companies to also make effort to make groups that are on par with the big 3 groups in terms of talent and popularity and now a lot of small companies started to debut girl groups at a higher rate and give the big 3 a run for their money
