Possibly the best purchase I made about five years back. The Temres are great for trail work in rain, backpacking in snow, any sort of cold and/or wet activity. They were designed and are used on fishing factory ships where everything is cold and wet, so they've had thousands of hours of test before we got hold of them. I've got the blue ones, but I'm interested in your black ones with the wrist closure for use in snow. Of yeah, they cost me about $25 US when I purchased them.

A fantastic review Mowser!, Has the exact info I needed to hear after making do with freezing cold hands and relying on supposedly cold-weather gloves.. which only provide very mediocre relief in reality. I'll be placing my order soon! cheers,

Glad to hear! Looks like I'll be seeing more people on the track with these gloves. They really are a game changer. Enjoy!

The gloves look great Mowser. Years ago I had a pair of Outdoor Research mitts with a removable liner mitt style) modular system which were feet in snow but lacked dexterity.

I had a similar pair of (i think) North Face gloves.

FYI - have only just seen this video but just a heads up that these can be purchased from Blackwoods here in Australia, not sure on current pricing but should be cheaper than purchasing from the US..!

Any guidance for sizing? Size up a size if you are wearing a liner as gloves are a bit small. Adventure Alan usually wears a medium and bought a large size.

Yep definitely size up. I sized up 2 x sizes and fits nicely

thanks for that review… will look into those … i’m still on my quest for the perfect system after persistent chilblains on my fingers -that lasted for months-2 years running on the PCT (& that was before i even hit snow). How do they stack up re weight?
@mowsertas Жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it! They weigh 175grams (about 6 ounces) and are worth it!

How do the Temres run for sizing?
@mowsertas Жыл бұрын
I have an XL, which according to the size chart is where I should be. Having said that, they do run a little small. I'm more than happy with the XL but when the hands are wet and hard to move it's difficult to get the gloves on straight away. I have to squeeze the hands in. Then once warm the gloves seem to adjust nicely and dry out to a comfortable fit. I probably could have got away with getting the XXL. There is a size chart located on the product page at this link: www.go2marine.com/showa-282-temres-gloves?quantity=1&size=852
