🤣 If you live in a remote area, these are honestly invaluable. You can reach miles away in case of an emergency and by using repeaters you can get even further. There is so much to learn with GMRS radios. They are really cool. Thanks for watching.

Dude that's sick but Kelly finally made a cameo and you guy's aren't saying "over" after the banter! I like this can be used in multiple vehicles too, it's cool that it doesn't have to be permanently installed in any one car. Good stuff man, we'll be seeing vids of you guys using this while rescuing 4runners and Land Cruisers in no time.

What is the range and what handheld was it that you were testing on the other side? In Australia we can use 5W UHF radios licence-free which depending on terrain and antenna used can give around 2-5km range.

I purposely didn't get into range because it differs so much depending on your location. We did do a quarter-mile test and the comms were perfectly clear. We still want to do more testing, but so far we are very impressed with the Retevis unit. At this price point, it destroys everything. Thanks for watching!

GUYS at a half a watt 2 miles OK me setting at 45 watts and a range of 20 miles around town and 200 miles on a tower link to east coast.

What is your purpose of installing this Radio for ? What is the benefits for you let alone anyone else? Sorry is sound rude but I'm really not just curios

When you are off-roading you are usually off the grid so there is little to no cell phone service. In these cases, a GMRS radio is invaluable. It allows you to easily talk to anyone you are out driving with and if something were to happen it allows you to be able to reach out to not only anyone in the area who maybe listening in, but also to nearby repeaters, which would allow your radio reach to increase substantially.
