It’s just bad in duels if your fighting someone who knows what their doing usually, I would like them to fasten the recovery time for missed strikes, missing a swing with this thing is usually a death sentence in 64

They need to buff it to at least match messer damage on all other attacks except overheads. The light should be 80 and heavy stay at 100. If not, maybe add the chop modifier, but i feel like that would be too powerful lol

it was perfect after the first nerf then they nerfed it 2 more times I got it to 170 then stopped playing with it but was fun to get 80 dmg on heavy slashes

I think just in general the health and damage stats should be changed around. Like currently, with some weapons “specifically mace” vangaurd sometimes has more effective HP than a knight. With a mace Vangaurds can take one extra strike than a knight. This should never be the case, it doesn’t really make sense. I’m fine with the same effective damage. It’s also silly how this sword does less damage then something like messer.

It used to be a beast pre nerf. Sadly too many bots complained on reddit and the devs just made it a worse, slower greatsword. I know, I know, it does 10 more damage than the heavy overhead on the greatsword. Yay. While having equal slashes ( more or less ) and worse stabs and special and being slower. Also messer does more ( or equal now due to +5 damage buff ) on a slash. Because of course it does. And I agree with you, still a good weapon because of the reach, damage and drag potential, especially in the hands of a beast like you. And I also like it myself over the rest of the meta weapons. But all in all being great in the hands of skilled players does not say much about the weapon itself, a great player will demolish lobbies with a knife or shovel too.

I found a fix where I unlinked my xbox account from EA and relinked it the problem is EA only lets u link it every 6months dumb system I talked with an agent in chat and they allowed me to link it again its a huge problem but luckily that fixed it for me soo trying going on ur ea account make sure everything's linked and if it is just unlink and relink

ex is slightly better if you are good with movement and don't care about dying as much. if you want to be untouchable highland is a great choice both are almost even ex just kills faster but range is meh it depends on your playstyle at the end of the day

The fact that there is such a disparity between player, skill level in this game is a indication of how poorly this game explains its mechanics and things to new players. Very few games. Could you get this number of players in one lobby and one or two players continuously stand out. Maybe 10 to 12 maybe 20 but for one player to have such a gap on the rest of the field consistently I find is an issue of the game.

It’s actually preety normal for fighting games. While this game has parrelels to a lot of other games the mechanics and skill ceiling close to traditional fighting games. And in these kind of games skill disparity is more normal. The tutorial is much better than many other games.

The developers were happy with the highland 60 slash and heavy 80dmg but people on reddit were complaining it was broken but the problem back then no one knew how to counter its a slow moving weapon just unfortunate it got nerfed its still good just wish I had my 60dmg back
