I cannot recommend this store enough. It is the best around. I even travel from Oxford so that I can keep going back to see Ed. Nothing is too much trouble. It doesn’t matter whether you’re on a budget or the wife has given you some pocket money to spend, there’s something for every option And they are the most genuine down-to-earth people you will meet.

Some interesting nice-looking historical architectural buildings. It's awesome that your father is working all these years as a Master Gunsmith! That's also very smart to go over each Shotgun,Rifle and make sure they are all in "Well Regulated" order before being put out for sale. Your father and you have seen some drastic changes to the UK firearms laws over the years. Was there a time that you sold Handguns? Do you currently sell Black Powder cap&ball percussion revolvers and Pistols?

Swings and roundabouts though. Whilst I'd love to have more access to guns for sport and recreation, the hard-fact is that in the states, for every responsible person that's owning a firearm , there's also a criminal owning one, with bad intentions for it. And let's not go down the 'freedom' argument. We live a free'er life than Americans do anyway, as do many of the Europeans who also have similar restrictions

And as a convicted Felon most felons lose the privilege of gun rights, by law.................... Lawfully speaking illegal aliens< not American citizens. > are not allowed to buy or own firearms.> There are approx. 25 million or more illegal aliens in the U.S. at this time A very large percentage of illegals are very much good decent people , just trying to have a better life for them and their families.. However the fact remains they are not citizens .Just their presence here is a crime . At a ballpark guess 1/2 of the illegals have firearms mostly for self defence .. It seems like 90 % of gun crime is directly related to huge cities like los Angeles. Chicago, and New York, and their gangs and that is fairly accurate .. Your statement of just as many criminals own guns as citizens own guns is just badly mistaken..... Current population of the U.S is approx.330 million citizens, and we have much more than 1 firearm per person, all in private citizens hands.... Add a small number for the police and military.

Nice video and easy to watch. I bought an ATA shotgun recently and had to take it back. Before I arrived there, both Ed and Roy had diagnosed the problem without even seeing the gun. Hmm It was embarrassingly operator error. Roy still tested it, bless him and he didn't make me look a complete idiot. In my defense, I'm new to shooting. Well that's my excuse. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. Down to earth and no bull. If I have a problem again, I'll make certain, it's not not me!

I don't have a clue what the gun laws are in GB, but from what I can see as beautiful as they are, double barrels of both over and under, and side by side, is all I can see. I guess I will look up the gun laws in Great Britain.

It’s so sad to see such a limited selection of firearms. The insane gun prohibitions in the UK need to be ended. I am able to carry a handgun or two or three every day that I live and everywhere that I go. My shotguns are all Benelli or Remington products design for law-enforcement use. Walking into a store and leave within minutes with a Glock and several boxes of ammunition. I am more into the HK and Sig products.

Britain is strange in their gun laws. I like the layout of the store and shop but they are only selling high end double barrels and no bolt action Shotguns Like the 20 gauge Savage 220 that can be used for deer hunting. Glad I don't live in Britain! In the old west days in the USA their was more people killed with an old double barrel shotgun than any other gun.

Here, I have a 9mm automatic, .357 magnum revolver, 9mm self-loading carbine and a few other toys. Here, also, I can carry my guns openly or concealed (aside from a few exceptions ) everywhere.

I travelled over to see Ed last year as I was looking for a B25. I came away with a lovely gun and found Ed to be friendly, knowledgable and really down to earth. I just wish the shop was closer, I’d haunt it! Well worth a visit. The gun was made in 1979 and hasn’t missed a beat. Testament to the workshop skills of these guys. Lovely premises too.

I am from Austria so if I would visit I can’t buy a rifle I guess (but I have enough for now/hunting), but the cloth also look high quality products and just to c it, of course I would buy something. I think next time in the area it would be nice for a short shopping trip. I like the English hunting cloth style, u rarely c that here.
