Stock mk7 shifter wasn't bad after some mods. Worst half-modern shifter I've touched was a 5.7 challenger. Felt like stirring a broom stick in gravel

Can you compare the quality of the shift itself between this and the CAE? Is the real difference only in the additional features of the KDN?

I have a coolerworx for the mk5/6 platform which is great, but this looks like the next generation. Awesome, but i dont want to look for prices to the UK on my AWD hybrid turbo track car 😅

Any thoughts on something like the SQS from Darkside where it converts the H pattern into a sequential? Thinking about doing this in my Rabbit.

My buddy has it in his car, we'll see it here this spring when I tune it. It wasn't aloud in our class before but rules were updated last year to allow them. It's a good option but not enough to make me switch from what I use.

@coucouj2781 it depends what you're referring to specifically. In regards to strength and speed of shifting yes. However this is still an H pattern combo. If you just want to pull for uplifting and push for downshifting then that's a sequential setup.
