Pick long range, pick air, pick units that will exist on the map with high DPS and splash. Electro Giant is way better than Golem or Giant because it can KILL units.

I usually use split cards like wb, then air targetting troops like wizard or musk, then air troops like flying machine, mini tanks like knight or miner, then some tank killers like inferno dragon. It works so well
