I do have to explore London more! Admittedly I had shunned it for many years but I decided to look for the lesser known historic sites around London and the resulting video turned out to be my best performing video on my channel haha (even though I wasn't personally a fan on how it turned out)

I was impressed with Charterhouse nestled in the centre of London with heaps of history One of my friends has recently been accepted as one of the few residents and she is hugely impressed with the traditions involved and the beauty of the buildings

The Drama Films show me exactly what Lifestyle was like, when there was no Emergency Services. No 999 Number Call. So Much Suffering. I don't think I'd of liked living in those periods!

I live in the US and wish that we had amazing old buildings like the ones in the British Isles. Most older buildings that aren’t along the East Coast or in the South have been torn down and replaced with cheap apartment blocks, strip malls and car parks. Old=bad or unnecessary seems to be the mindset, and yet, when an old building is actually preserved it then becomes beloved by the community. It makes no sense to me.

Come to think of Castles. In the 1906 Edwardian Novel of The Railway Children. In the 1970 version, One Rainy cold day at Oakworth Station in Yorkshire, the three Waterbury children are sitting in the waiting by the fire, waiting for mother to come home. I hope Mother doesn't get too wet. We don't want her ill again. Its like being in a sieged castle, the arrows & the bows striking agenist the battlements. Its more like a great big garden squirt.
