Hey nice review. Love the Farmer quality. I have the version with just one side wire holding the magnet. Nice big tightening knob. Strong magnet. It's so much more streamlined for practical and performance reasons.
@HarmonicaJamz6 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I think I would like the one side version even more since it's even more "low key" Haven't tried it yet though.

I really like the farmer holders, but…something to keep in mind with the magnet. You can’t use harps with steel reeds. I’ve snapped a reed in half with an enthusiastic bend.

I ordered one. Can’t wait to see how it works. I mainly play a hohner Blues harp.

The problem, as you mentioned, is the height. I have both a Hohner and a Lee Oskar. Either would be fine if I could adjust the height so it’s not right in my face when I’m trying to sing.
@dippingbird3 жыл бұрын
A rack like the Lee Oskar is 'bendable' - I did it quite extensively mostly to change the 'angle of attack' so the front is not pointing up. Probably could make it lower with the rignt kind of bends! I've recently got a Flexrack however, and am finding it great so far, I like it right 'there', and it solves other problems like glasses slipping forward ;-) it also feels 'healthier' to not bend head down. It seems that I have different problems to you, most racks seem too low.

The harmonica will slip out of position if it's being held by a magnet, especially the small magnet on this holder.
