The best Holiday watch for £1000-£1500 Oris Aquis 43mm (Review)

Today we discuss the Oris Aquis, a watch were both pleasantly surprised by, yes 43mm is usually too big for our tastes but we'd both have one, probably over the smaller size too!

Oris as a brand is punching well above its weight is my personal view, great to see a review from a watch channel with the watch in hand 🖐 for a change as opposed to those expressing opinions. I have several in my collection & love them...one of my favourite pieces is the Big Crown Pointer D26, Oris ProDiver GMT, Oris Regulateur Der Meistertaucher, Oris Big Crown ProPilot & the Oris ProDiver Titanium 52mm which is a beast with a calibre 674 based off an 7750...some of the watches in my collection all of which you can own for the price of probably the price you just sold your Rolex Explorer for. Also the Diver 65 & Great Barrier Reef are 👍. An interesting fact about Oris is they got out of the Quartz market long before some of the bigger brands either in the late 80’s or early 90’s and have never produced a quartz watch since. Great review lads, always so much more credible when you have had a watch in 🤚.

Nice review, but I love the Aquis even more than the two of you. It’s modern, rugged, unique, great hand set, and lollipop second hand, perfect bracelet, and that magical sunburst blue dial. Of course it’s all a matter of taste. My next watch is the green Aquis. Look forward to more videos - so nice to see something, anything besides another damn Rolex or Seiko video.

the video put a con on the weight because the one reviewed is 43mm but they do have a 39.5mm is a better on weight. I have the 39.5mm green dial and stunning.

I tried on th Oris Aquis a few months ago and there built like a tank. The ceramic bezel really pops and the case is 43mm but wears really well due to the integrated bracelet. It's a well built watch and Oris is a great brand that have released some great watches recently. Great review guys👌🏻

Oris is grest brand, alot of watch for the money & its hard beat when you actually have the watch in hand for comparison. Several in my collection, best deals on JOMA Shop - check out the "Great Barrier Reef" model.

I've got the Oris Aquis Date Relief, was gonna buy a Tag Formula 1 Calibre 5, even paid a deposit on it, but when I tried the Aquis on it was leagues ahead in terms of quality.

Quite blown away with that review lads. Very few negatives indeed. I was afraid the size would rule it out and the intergrated bracelet. I saw the guy that wears the gloves review this and I just loved it. I had to wait a few weeks as it had just been revised (more taper on the bracelet and Aquis on the dial (perhaps more?)), when I called in to pick it up the quality of it just shone through. The blue on the black dial is wonderful when it catches the light in that sunburst and the polished surfaces really shine. Yeah your right about marking easily though. I recently got to look at the generation before mine at a Redbar event and with an awful lot more wear, it still looked magnificent. The Oris rubber strap is lovely too, a quality item that befits the watch head. I admit I do baby mine and class it as a sports/dress watch almost. Think I will shut the fork up now, just get one,I have no regrets whatsoever. 😁

Guys, as always nice video 👍🏽 The Aquis date with a greyish black dial was my first proper watch that i have bought. And i still love it. I bought it on the rubber strap, which is not everyone’s taste. But everyone should try that strap once and smell on it. You will be pleasantly pleased. I promise!

@@clockbait This is a good result. It usually takes 1-2 months to develop, after which the clock enters the optimum beat. So maybe the deviation will be even smaller. Best Regards!
