I'm pretty sure it's when Ed Boon was on the couch and Lang was insanely drunk and started to legitimately annoy Ed towards the end (Johnny V even says "it looks like he's ready to hit you"). It would explain why Dave instantly burst out in laughter and said "that was more self-destructive".
