What a great video man. I often touch base with other hobbyists on Reddit and some of the responses are crazy. I never understand when I read people saying others are wrong, everyone is going to hear things differently. Everyone is going to have different preferences. We should be supporting each other down this rabbit hole. Every audiophile is in this for the same thing, we want to find the way we most enjoy listening to music. Thanks for being a positive part of this hobby 👍

I am afraid most youtube reviewers get free stuff to review and they know that if they give a negative review they won't have free stuff to test anymore or they make money from afiliate links and if they give a negative review hey won't make any money. So these reviewers don't lie by mostly pointing out the positive aspects of an iem but simply won't tell you if another iem is better at a similar or lower price.

@@amanieux It's a definate interesting topic. I'll touch on it in a future video some.
@Sforzabull8 ай бұрын
@@amanieux it's more likely that most sets do a pretty good job sonically in their respective price categories. Retail chifi is literally deciding which sets get the hype by sending out samples. Is it because those are the better sounding sets? Is it because those sets have a higher profit margin? I'm just speculating but when I get my hands on a set like the BGVP DMA, which has only one review on KZbin and performs as well as it does, it makes you question why you haven't seen more reviews.

Ew200 eq with +2 or 3 DB at 1250hz low shelf filter and -2 or 3 DB at 250hz. Easily competes with +$500 iems. Really like the fudu at $80 as it's a berry relaxed sound with a hard hitting visceral bass. Ea500lm with -2db at 4k and 8k is a great option. Id have a hard time recommending anything over $100 at this point as diminishing returns really show. I also have ej07m kinda lava and I question why I still have them. Wireless wise im really like my galazy buds 2 (not pro) i got on ebay for $40. On samsung app i put them in clear mode and wavelett autoeq to sennheiser 600 worn pad. Great for podcasts and music

1. Sound on high mids and treble changes according to volume, so it depends what volume people listen to,the louder thenvolume the less treble and upper mids we need. 2.the quality of drivers produces the sound stage and image and if struggles at higher volumes. 3. Most chifi have this budgets iem with the same distance back closed dd driver from the nozzle . meaning that changing the back place does not change the sound. Only the filter in the noozle or back aide of the driver changes the tuning. Not the quality of the driver. I hear so many stupid things from reviewers all the time. Like bleeding from mid bass. Yes at lower volumes. At higher volumes the mid bass stays in same place . Only the higher frequency changes. 4. Try to get iem with good drivers with a grill nozzle or changeable nozzles. Because I mod all my 90 iem sets. 5.to mod, there are a few ways. Filter made from synthetic material or cotton for outside the nozzle grill. Both are very different , never place 2. Peolle that do that don't know that iem when comes to hot weather or sweat the filters gets wet and you will have the driver struggling to get air. Filter inside the nozzle. Sponge or plastic. You can even ad 1 inside and 1 outside. But some iem sounds better with inside filter. Some outside. Depends on the position of the driver and the chamber . With the changeable nozzles. If the change you want is big. Use the sponge filters inside. If its small. In the grill. All my mods made my iem sound better than it was at lower cost. 6. Get a dap instead of dongle. Better sound. Better sd card options. Makes no sense to use low resolution files l. For gym get the shanling small dap. Get a case. Make a hole. Place a neck strap and here you go. Better for gym like I use. 7. Bluetooth sucks. Simple . I gave all my away.
