Polaroid needs to make their company, film and cameras great again. Love my sq6. I also like my Itype polaroid. I can also shoot 600 film in it. I also like my polaroid go. I got it for 67 bucks on ebay . A friend pointed it out. I know urban outfitters carries them.

I think the Sun660 is the best Vintage Camera for low price. You get Autofocus/Flash and you can turn both off if needed.

If you want the easiest option to get amazing instax mini photos you’re going to need to shell out the $200+ for the neo 90. It produces perfect pictures in pretty much every situation. Even in the pitch dark the flash is powerful enough to get decent lighting. Though you have no control other than a few preset options. If you have a chunk of change you need to pick up a NONs camera that’s going to get you more control over your photos and you can pick and choose your focal length more based on what lenses you own/purchase.

Instax is basically indestructible. Polaroids down is good for a couple years based off of what Polaroid says. But most times as long as the batteries in the package work, you should be fine. Realize the older the Polaroid film gets the weirder. The picture will become, which in some circles is still really cool.

I'll definitely settle for the Polaroid Gen 1 as you can still find them for sale in some places, i'm a little paranoid of accidently buying the Gen 2 by mistake, because as far as i know the only way to differentiate them is the type of USB port they have; with Gen 1 having Micro-USB entrance and Gen 2 having the USB-C type.

theres a few wasy to differenciate the models, the now gen 1 will have its name "polaroid now" on the front of the camera and the gen 2 will only have the name "polaroid" on the front, both these models are fine. the now + is the model to avoid and it will have the rainbow going down the front of the camera, whereas the regular non-plus now will have the rainbow going ontop of the camera

I currently have the Polaroid Now Gen 2 (bought it like 8 months ago, after wathching some of your reviews). I really love the format of the Polaroid I-Type films (square and bigger), but I'm really tired of how careful I need to be when shooting photos. Almost half of my photos get wrecked, due to too low or too high exposure, and on top of that, the film is pretty expensive. I'm thinking to sell my Polaroid and switch tor an Instax Square camera. I was thinking about the Instax SQ6. I'm a beginner, I don't really want to play around with settings, I'm not into photography, I just want to take quick and nice memories with my camera. What would you guys recommend? Thanks!

Chris, have you ever reviewed a Fuji Instax 500af? I realize they are crazy expensive, but I always hear folks swear by them for reliably good shots. I'm thinking about either grabbing one of those or one of the Lomo Wide Glass cameras. I do have a 300 and have generally loved it. I also love Polaroid, but I've generally been disappointed with my Keith Haring edition photos, though perhaps I should try some of the newer film before completely giving up on it, or just going back to shooting from my old 600 box cameras and my SX-70 sonar.

I want to get into instant photography. It would be my first camera, but my dad was a long time dslr user, so I have experience with aperture, focal length, shutterspeeds etc. I have found a instax mini 70 second hand for about 70 euro. But its an older camera nowadays. There's also the mini 12, mini SE and potentially the mini 90 ( although it's above my price range for a first venture into the world ). The 12 seems a bit too point and click for me (exposure and flash is automatic). The SE seems better, but not yet available in my country. Any idea on what to get?

What would you recommend for moving photos and very, very, very dark night time photos? I like to take pictures of things that don't stay still for a shot. I also take a lot of evening photos. I was leaning towards the mini Evo so that way I can just take a bunch and then choose which photo looks the best, but I heard that it's basically the same (if not worse) then just using your phone with a instax printer on you. So now I'm just unsure. 🤷‍♀️😓

My daughter wants the Instax 12 but I am nervous because I can’t find many reviews. I was thinking either that or the mini liplay? I think she wants it for the prints but I know she will print without thinking about film so I’m ok paying more for the digital dual ones. What would you recommend? Hmm might want to look in to the EVO or the liplay. The digital aspect will allow her to keep taking photos even after she runs out of film.

The great thing about polaroids is that the pictures stay offline! On top of that, no hackers or AI can steal your pictures to commit fraud!

The light meter in the plus models are prone to overexposing pictures. In manual mode, they're good, but you must use the app.
